David Lynch was more than a visionary filmmaker, artist, and storyteller—he was a unique force of nature who had the rare gift of making the mundane extraordinary and the extraordinary transcendent. Through his work, he invited us to peer into the hidden corners of our minds, to find beauty in the surreal and meaning in the mysteries of life.
David personally impacted my life in ways I can’t fully articulate, but I carry his influence in how I see the world—with a deeper appreciation for its complexities, contradictions, and quiet wonders. His art taught me to embrace the unknown, to lean into discomfort, and to find inspiration in the smallest, most mundane and strangest moments.
His work will continue to inspire generations, and even more so, I am grateful to have lived in a time where I was able to personally witness his creativity and spirit inspire so many. I will always cherish the few short moments I had the undeniable privilege of working with him during the production of the Twin Peaks Entire Mystery Box set.
Rest in peace, David.
