Coming November 8th, for the first time ever on Blu-ray, you can pick up David Lynch’s masterpiece “Blue Velvet”. How better to celebrate than to participate in a one of a kind contest that is sure to get you to raise your glass of Pabst Blue Ribbon to the fine folks at Fox for putting together an amazing release. The new Blu-ray release features over 50 minutes of never before seen Deleted Scenes remastered, edited, and scored from the original negatives thought to have been lost forever.
So here’s the deal. If you would like a shot at winning one of 5 copies of the film on Blu-ray here’s what you need to do:
Film a short video of you, your friends, or a tribute of any kind to the movie Blue Velvet. It can be an impression of a character or a re-creation of your favorite scene. Once you’ve filmed it, post it on Youtube or Vimeo and send us the link. Our top 5 favorite entries will receive a copy of the Blu-ray sent out on release day. The top entries will be featured on the main page and be tweeted out to our Twitter followers. Your video should be less than 5 minutes long. It can be filmed on any type of camera.
All participants must have a shipping address within the US or Canada to qualify for a prize. Entries must be received by Monday, November 7th at 12:01am. Good Luck!
