Re: Discussion of the "Titles" (SPOILERS)
My guess it's to do with the chair Mr C was sitting on in prison and warden Murphy will refer to it when explaining how Mr C escaped

Re: Discussion of the "Titles" (SPOILERS)
Okay, let's try some random predictions to see how wrong I was in a few weeks:
Part 9: "This is the chair" - The doppelganger ordering Ray to sit down at the farm (the less likely imo, I saw somewhere that one of Badalamenti's new song is named "the chair", so I am sure it would be something as predictable as Part 8.)
Part 10: "Laura is the one" - Betty Briggs while channeling the Log Lady intros style (since the actors were close friends IRL and Coulson gave her the log when she died I think it would be a fitting hommage)
Part 11: "There's fire where you are going" - Jeffries to the good Dale about the upcoming CooperBowl between him and the doppelganger (because Twin Peaks is just like Game of Thrones, right?)
Part 12: "Let's rock" - The evolution of the arm to a Sheryl Lee character, Cooper's dream style
Part 13: "What story is that, Charlie?" - Gordon Cole to his son portrayed by Tim Roth

Part 10
Lucy: [working on crossword puzzle at her desk] Andy, who's the tall actress who starred in That 70s Show?
Andy: [long pause] Gee, pookie. I don't know. [another pause, twice as long] Maybe Deputy Chief Hawk knows.
Lucy: Deputy Chief Hawk? Who's the tall actress, who -
Hawk: Laura Prepon.
Lucy: [pause] Laura [pause] Prepon. [pause] Are you sure, Deputy Chief Hawk?
Hawk: I'm sure, Lucy. Laura is the one.
Lucy: But it needs to be 11 letters.
Hawk: L-A-U-R-A P-R-E-P-O-N
Lucy: [counts on her fingers] Oh. [pause] Thank you, Deputy Chief Hawk.
Hawk: You're welcome, Lucy. [exits]

I've already gone places. I just want to stay where I am.

This would probably spark a massive, violent riot by TP fans.DamnFineCreamedCorn wrote:Part 10

Where do you find these titles? I know they are correct, but I've never managed to find the later ones on the Showtime website.

Spoiler:
They don't have the little arrow that leads you to the next episode, you have to manually change the episode number in the URL!baxter wrote:Where do you find these titles? I know they are correct, but I've never managed to find the later ones on the Showtime website.

Re: Discussion of the "Titles" (SPOILERS)
Apologies if I'm the 120th person to post this, but the title of the next episode "Laura is the one" is extra interesting because it turns up in the Log Lady intro for the pilot (just discovered this today, while at home recovering from an old man injury and watching some old favorite TP episodes on the Blu-ray set).
Transcript:
Transcript:
David Lynch in 1993 wrote wrote:"Welcome to Twin Peaks. My name is Margaret Lanterman. I live in Twin Peaks. I am known as the Log Lady. There is a story behind that. There are many stories in Twin Peaks - some of them are sad, some funny. Some of them are stories of madness, of violence. Some are ordinary. Yet they all have about them a sense of mystery - the mystery of life. Sometimes, the mystery of death. The mystery of the woods. The woods surrounding Twin Peaks.
"To introduce this story, let me just say it encompasses the all - it is beyond the 'fire', though few would know that meaning. It is a story of many, but begins with one - and I knew her.
"The one leading to the many is Laura Palmer. Laura is the one."
Re: Discussion of the "Titles" (SPOILERS)
Nice catch.
Re: Discussion of the "Titles"
Apart from 'Gotta light' which I like the best for sure, my favourites would be the DougieCoop ones, Case Files and Call For Help.
Can't wait to see if anything worthwhile happens about Laura tonight. Well, tomorrow night. I'm gonna watch it in a bit less than 24 hours.
And that would be great, too! Much better than the one about the body.laughingpinecone wrote:"he moves like a cobra" for pt7
That's the tops!Mr. Reindeer wrote:My guess is that "Let's rock!" will be the Part where Cooper regains enough consciousness to become a proactive agent of change in the narrative again.......but knowing Lynch, "Let's rock!" could also signify a full hour dedicated to showcasing the Roadhouse's summer concert series setlist, and I don't think any of us would be too surprised at this point!
Oh no. That would be the bottoms!Panapaok wrote:It'd be hilarious if The Evolution of the Arm says "Let's rock" in Part 12.

No. But in Forest Gump he says they were constantly looking for a guy like that. Then it started to rain as far as I can remember.manalicream wrote:We haven't met anyone called Charlie yet right?

Re: Discussion of the "Titles" (SPOILERS)
I got a feeling 'Let's Rock' is said by one of Kyle's characters because at Comic-Con someone asked him about speaking backwards in the black lodge, and the thing he could say backwards was Let's Rock, like he had rehearsed it.
