I'll need a bit more active footage to break down sobbing, but this is great.

actual footage or not, the apparent locale and seeing him emerge from darkness certainly implies a lot. although really not unexpectedly so.
also, after seeimg KM in so many things since, his expression and bearing are pure cooper. it's so cool seeing him in character again!

It definitely isn't. I don't think there's anything even remotely similar-looking in the pilot.
I don't think any of this is re-used footage.

The harsh light on the bare branches reminded me of Glastonbury Grove. Coop emerging from the shadows felt very Lodgy to me.
But it seems to be symbolic of a journey and an arrival over all. A somber one at that.

I wouldn't bet on it, though, the shot of the woods does look very much like one from FWWM, at least from memory.

All I need is one with Sheryl Lee to start crying, tbh. (Not holding my breath)

I'm fine with that kind of teasers, tbh. I don't need more, I'm sold anyway. The driving shot truly gave me Lost Highway vibes.
This is - excuse me - a damn fine cup of coffee.

Nope, definitely not the shot from FWWM.

In that case, safe to say it's all fresh.

Looks like fresh footage to me! Love the slowed down theme and how intense Coop looked. I also am of the opinion that these teasers are perfect. Just enough to get the imagination going. So excited.
