A few years ago, I remember when I first discovered Davidlynch.com and how exciting it was! I couldn't wait to get cable Internet and a faster computer so I could enjoy it fully. So, I did get those things and signed up as a full member.
At first, I had a lot of fun exploring the site and putting together the clues to the puzzles, finding the hidden videos, etc. The chat room was fun too and I met some great people there.
But, that soon turned to disappointment when the site was never updated with anything new. It's like they gave up on it - a failed experiment. So, I guess it is. I let my membership expire and didn't join again.
Now, I see they are no longer accepting new members on dl.com and I guess I know why.
Feels like I'm writing a kind of obituary for the site and it probably is, in many ways.
I wish the site would be revived, but maybe they never got enough paying members for it to support itself? Does anyone have any info on why the site has withered?
The DL.com site is not even updated with the latest "Lynch" and I come to Dugpa to find out what's new with David. Strange marketing. The "stumble-upon" method?
