And a Diane. The joke (actually a Night Vale quote) is supposed to work if you believe that the frogbug is Coop, but you know what, it also works as a regular thing Coop would say... oh Coop.

This was my naive and optimistic last piece of fanart posted ten minutes before the finale... it didn't work too well for well wishing but I still like the pic... oh well.
Thank you very much
Two more weeks, two more pictures for my little countdown to The Final Dossier...

I know that Lynch's attitude toward Chekhov's guns is to deep fry the pesky buggers, but I was dead sure - dead sure! - that the Laura-Sarah face-off parallel would result in a meeting between the two. Guess I'll write my own fanfiction. Meanwhile...

I guess I never really looked into Balthazar's place in the Getty clan until I read the book upon which "All the Money in the World" is based. He's the son of the kidnap victim. The book was written in 1995, but briefly mentions him, and deals not only with the kidnapping, but all the travails of the Getty family. The movie you can skip; it's horrible in how it totally fictionalizes so much of the story for "dramatic purpose". If you go or went to it, realize that much of it is bullshit. Balthazar's dad had a very sad story. After the kidnapping, he began drinking and taking drugs because he had become hooked on alcohol from his kidnappers. When Balthazar was young, his dad took too many pills, fell into a coma for quite a while, and emerged effectively paralyzed, mostly blind, and with speech issues. He was able to have a fulfilled life, but passed in his fifties. It's said in the book that Balthazar abstains from alcohol and drugs. He's probably a beneficiary of the huge family trust. So that's a little background on him.
Wow...i just realized that that poster first appeared in some country before the show aired...and we all decided it was likely promotional material made up by the channel broadcasting in that country, since it said "missing." Wow. I assume it's official, but did we ever find out?
I’ve been trying to figure out where the shot of young Don Murray in boxing gear came from. Evidently he played a boxer in this dreadful-sounding film (variously known as Childish Things, Confessions of Tom Harris, and....ahem....Tale of the Cock):
