That would be freakin' hilarious, Jerry! Here you go fans! We'll finally give you what you want, but it may take years to open it!

While we're at it, another cool soundtrack idea would be the Sounds of Twin Peaks.
Wind blowing in the trees
The Falls
The Sawmill during production
Logging trucks driving by
Hooting owls
Buzzing neon business signs
Big Ed's Gas Farm when a customer pulls up
I'm sure there are many more. Just sounds from the actual TP show and movie that will immerse you in that universe. Maybe sad, but I would listen to this while going to sleep!

Pre-silent drape runners opening and closing. Someone must do this and offer it for download! They would be my hero!

I would like to listen Windom Earle's flute
Faster and faster...for a long time you wouldn't feel anything....than you'd burst into fire....forever...and the angels wouldn't help you....because they've all gone away...

I'd love to have the music that plays in the pilot when Bobby and Shelley spot Leo's truck parked up. It's proper spooky.

They could fill up two whole cd's with nothing but that dark ambient sound heard throughout the series. Case-in-point: the background music we hear as Cooper is shot and the Giant appears. Where are all those tracks? Good God!! Please release a complete 8 disc box set now! I could die happy! I would never ask for anything again! Well, maybe the deleted scenes from FWWM. Oh, and maybe a coffee table book of rare Peaks photos. Oh and maybe...

With regards to getting hold of certain tracks is this a possibility?
I have recently found a CD online that comprises of the entire Dawn of the Dead ( 1978 ) soundtrack, bar one piece. For fans of the movie, this isn't the 'Trunk Records' version released a couple of years ago. This CD has 51 pieces on it, stuff that has never seen the light of day since the movie was first released all those years ago.
Apparently a lot of it had been found via the De Wolfe music archives site, as it was musical cues bought by the film makers to put into their film rather than it be composed like the tracks by Goblin. BUT, i also read that some people had managed to grab the music that couldn't be found in the archives ( I assume it just doesn't exist in any format anymore ) by separating the sound tracks on the laser disc version and converting them over once separated.
Would this be possible with a Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me laser disc at all? They obviously would only be what is onscreen at that time, but it might do for now until we can buy an official release CD part 3 ?
I hear Criterion laser discs are particularily good for this procedure, but i don't think TP:FWWM was ever released by Criterion?

maybe the TP2 soundtrack didn't sell wellRoss wrote:dugpa wrote:"There is no more music for Twin Peaks...David said this is it."
Stunned too. Why on earth would they want to keep the rest of the music unreleased!? Such a waste.

I really missed on the season 2 CD the music played on Miss Twin Peaks.
