Season 4? Or is it over after this? Wisteria/Unrecorded Night? Something else? (Speculation thread.)

But is there a significance to 18 anyway?
Friday is an 18th.
So:
It's possible Wisteria and Unrecorded Night may indeed be different things (but part of the same whole).
The reports that Lynch was really upset about the info leak in late 2020 may have had some merit (even if coincidentally).
The series may indeed be a collection of (semi-)self-contained films (some long, some short?)

Well...Part 8 is how I took it. Or even Part 18. If it's Twin Peaks those are the two parts that might be continued.
Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
Exactly. That is how I see it.
In the last few days I have been leaning a bit more to this being an original series, but now I'm back to thinking it might be Twin Peaks. Maybe under the title Unrecorded Night, with only Richard, Carrie, and Linda from the "original series", and partially set in the 1950s, but still Twin Peaks.
Needless to say, I would love this.

Yep. The insta story could be referring
Either P8 everyday or P8 everyday like P18 was potentially the same recursion "every day."
Good catch.

It made me think of the infinity symbol/8 Jeffries forms for Coop.
Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
That was my initial thought before reading the 18 thing

So a 13 episode series with some episodes set in the 50’s. Unrecorded Night and Wisteria could just be episode titles and we really don’t know the actual title of the show. Starting to think this is in fact more Twin Peaks

I'm starting to think it's gonna be 13 Fire Walk With Mes.DougieJones wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 5:15 pm So a 13 episode series with some episodes set in the 50’s. Not just A Twin Peaks Story.
Twin Peaks stories. Some long; some short.
Presumably, "Season Four" may follow "long after," as Brad put it on Twitter. Frost included.

I'll go a step further and guesstimate that it's gonna be 13 stories, some Twin Peaks, some not.Histeria wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 5:36 pmI'm starting to think it's gonna be 13 Fire Walk With Mes.DougieJones wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 5:15 pm So a 13 episode series with some episodes set in the 50’s. I'd considered that back when he did the whole "some long some short" thing.
Very plausible indeed. Today's poll might even hint at it.
Not sure how I'd feel about it. Feels quite messy, inelegant and arbitrary if four are Twin Peaks and the rest are completely cut off from that universe.
So I land somewhere between both where the non-peaksy ones are still tangentially within that same narrative universe even if very loosely.
And I suspect Mulholland Drive may be brought into the fold. Possibly his other films, too.
