Season 4? Or is it over after this? Wisteria/Unrecorded Night? Something else? (Speculation thread.)

Very nice to dream. If we hear Kyle MacLachlan is there in a suit and Sheryl Lee is spotted eating a donut and a few other cast members are seen sipping coffee then I will believe!
I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange.

The timing in combination of the rumors of Lynch in Montana recently, potentially location scouting, is interesting though. If they are doing something in Montana it would make sense to maybe grab some stuff in North Bend while they are in the general NW area. Again, it's probably some random indie horror film or something (some Bigfoot movie was shot up there last year) but it's fun to dream!

I didn't realise Montana was close to Snoqualmie. My US geography needs a brush up!

Wait. A Bigfoot movie shot in North Bend/Snoqualmie?

My favourite sub-genre of movie in my favourite location.

I'm off to hunt it down.

It's not THAT close, probably a 7-8 hour drive but just generally if they are getting exterior PNW/woodsy stuff I can see them doubling up in the general area. Or perhaps Lynch wasn't satisfied with the locations in MT and they decided to come back to North Bend? Who knows? I know this is getting into rampant speculation territory so I'll hold off on connecting dots that don't really exist. If I'm able to get any eyes on what's going on in North Bend I'll pass it along. Thanks for the find, sneakydave!

Thanks for that. I'm definitely giving it a watch when I can lay my hands on it.

And yeah, interesting timing given the location scouting reports recently. I take it Lynch is still doing his weather reports though from his home?

That's a very odd way to not state something.

Agreed. "Privacy" makes me think it's a porn film

The ongoing speculation makes me feel an immense sense of guilt. Covid has impacted so many people in so many ways. Far too many people have been lost too early, many have lost their livelihoods. Yet the idea that a new series of Twin Peaks might have been scuppered by this rises to the top of the pile for me, which is appalling but I can't help it.

Good point. I haven't been following his weather reports - does anyone know was there a break in them last week when he was supposedly in Montana? If not, then doesn't that make it likely that rumour was untrue - unless people are going to go down the pre-recorded route, which I think is unlikely, though we floated it here before. Still seems unlikely. So no break in weather reports probably = no Montana. (Though even if he was there I didn't think it was due to location scouting, more reconnecting with his roots.)

This meme is my new favorite thing!

Also, Rebekah Del Rio's teases have nothing to with a new Lynch project or S4.

Except last time everyone saw signs that new Twin Peaks was happening - it was. So as for now, that meme is without merit.

Underthefan, I would agree that it is not likely that Del Rio would be the one to first announce a forthcoming project, do you happen to know what it is she's teasing? (a yes/no answer is certainly enough). Just like with the above North Bend example, it is great to have faulty rumours debunked asap.
