Twin Peaks at SXSW

Soooo Sundance didn't happen but Twin Peaks is coming to SXSW in March. Maybe by then we'll have some new promos? (Btw is it just me or its getting really annoying Showtime using the same "entering the town of Twin Peaks" line for every single new merchandise or event?)

I think it's a big mistake based on what we had seen in the past to assume Belushi's part has no comedy to it, and that's all I'm saying about that.

As for SXSW, is a Twin Peaks presence confirmed, or just a Showtime one?

Right now it's being referred to as "an immersive Twin Peaks experience."

Anyone keen on guessing what sxsw goers might get?
Sounds like the usual "Pop up store, treats and (probably) tote bags but no new material" along with music and Kyle appearing, most probably doing a speech on how inspiring it is to work with DKL.

I certainly see the hype building there, getting bigger every few months. Which is also a reason I believe the Potemkine "leak" was intentional, even if it got deleted.

My expectations concerning the new Peaks literally grow bigger every time some new little tidbit is shared. By now I believe it's gonna be the best thing since whipped cream, really.

I hope it holds up, I totally want it to.

The official TP Facebook site posted that there's a contest to enter via Twitter using #TwinPeaksTX that gets winners into an exclusive "First Look Event" whatever that means. Said event takes place at the Twin Peaks house on 3/16, a week from today.

Keep your eyes peeled, but be ready to sign an NDA if you win.
