Meanwhile, Lynch is busy working on Lost Highway 2.

(Couldn't figure out how to upload the video directly here, I know when it comes to Youtube etc. but not this one - so if anyone knows tell me and I'll edit it.)
I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange.

I love frogs and I love night roads. :)
Recipe not my own. In a coffee cup. 3 TBS flour, 2 TBS sugar, 1.5 TBS cocoa powder, .25 TSP baking powder, pinch of salt. 3 TBS milk, 1.5 TBS vegetable oil, 1 TBS peanut butter. Add and mix each set. Microwave 1 minute 10 seconds. The cup will be hot.

When they published the plans I thought it would be sad.

Seing acrual images of the aftermath so unceremoniously while flicking through my phone was absolutely devastating.

That's an unpleasant sight/site. On the other hand, upon first seeing the image it looked like "development" (destruction), but it seems to be maintenance related to erosion. Either way, it looks like many or even most of the trees we've seen so many times anywhere close to the Welcome to Twin Peaks sign are gone. I hope that the relatives of those trees will quickly get to work reforesting the area.

I'm not really upset by this, firstly because we discussed it in the season 4 speculation thread a few months ago, and secondly, well, because I've always felt that, as time passes and things change or disappear, a work of art loses its connections with the actual reality, and because of that becomes more special, not repeatable, like a kind of a time capsule. For example, think of all the films of classic Hollywood: you could never create anything like them again because the actors are gone, the sets are gone, and the world has changed so much in the meantime that we could never again make anything quite like it.

In that sense, in, let's say, 50 years, Twin Peaks will be even more special than today because its connections to the actual reality will be even thinner.

She reminded me of a certain someone, and the way that we last saw that someone, so I gave her a quick beauty mark and there you go!

Complete with Mordeen style puzzle in the file name.

Correct!

You win an extra Audrey!

P.S. Nice avatar.

Not content at having left John Justice Wheeler a broken shell of a man unable to take comfort in even the most luxuriant of sweaters, Audrey set her sights on her next target, none other than Dick Tremayne, Horne's department store, men’s fashions.

The above images seemed to spark some interesting and fun discussion on characters so created a new topic for discussing the characters here: http://www.dugpa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=4314

When I Google searched a couple of the images, a few more of those pulpy detective-novel-style images came up that could have been showing Cooper and Laura as well! Maybe if we find a lot more of them that in itself could be another new thread - Pulpy Images That Could Be TP-Related or something like that. :D

Criterion Closet Picks, John Waters: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=std013XVxSk

I just love the man. Very much looking forward to finally reading his books.

For those who are wondering why I'm just randomly posting John Waters-related stuff - as if that wouldn't be a good enough reason - it's because one of his picks, which, once again, proves that he's my man
