Dunno. Just a TV production firm who needs some shoots of the actual locations today.

And I'll take the chance to shoot a POV mini documentary as well. Long time I wanted to do that, and as I now have the equipment this is probably my last chance to keep a trace from the "in between" :)

Been there last week.
Some *interesting* stuff, but nothing really concrete for now.

Two points I noticed, but it could (and probably) have nothing related :

First, the Big Ed's Gas Station.
After several years being a funeral services store, it was for the past 2-3 years a garden and flowers shop.
But now it's totally empty.

Well, not totally, there is just a desk inside, and a lot of cardboards on the floor with folders in it.
On the desk, a computer and a printer. And behind the desk, a guy with a "FX" baseball cap. Of course my thought was the FX is the TV network, the logo looked pretty much the same, but i can't guarantee.

I took pictures of the place, but as the guy noticed me I did not took one of him behind his desk. I didn't either tried to go inside and talk to him.

Then, the spot sign :

There are two marks, spaced by about 30 feet each other.
Painted on the road, the mention <-- LOC -->
I drove the road for half a mile each side from there, but these two are the only ones we can find.

Few other stuff I noticed : the path to the bottom of the falls has been strongly reinforced with metallic fences. It is now very, very difficult (even if not impossible if you really want to) to sneak to the forbidden patch that leads you right at the very bottom of the falls. 6 month ago, on my previous trip, it was very easy to jump the fence and go there. Now, there are some spots but it could be dangerous.

Great work, The_Owl! Curious if you stopped by the Fat Trout Trailer park, and if so, was hot water readily available to all inhabitants?

I went to Seattle/Portland/Vancouver for my birthday. Which is also the same day I found out that Twin Peaks was back on. We spent a day wandering around Snoqualmie, North Bend, and Fall City. Most people we talked to that worked in the coffee shops, restaurants, and bars didn't even really know about it happening again. Even the gift shops had no Twin Peaks stuff.

One place we spent some time at was the Last Chance Saloon. It was right across the street from the place they used as the Roadhouse. It was such a great bar filled with characters. I hope they use that place in the new season...

Fat Trout is long gone, as the creepy pole. Now it's just a big lawn. The only remaining trace is a piece of the fence that you can see at the back on this screenshot :

3 years ago I had the chance to have a peak at it, just 2 months before dismantling, as you can see here :
http://www.dugpa.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 170#p25253

I forgot to mention that there are HEAVY ROAD CONSTRUCTIONS in Snoqualmie on Railway Road. Thank you Showtime ? :D
The Wheels on Meals picture has been taken there, while stuck in traffic.

I called the realtor for MO, it has been sold 2 weeks ago.

And I forgot to mention, I had a quick walkthrough into the Highschool. It will appear in the documentary, but just a quick preview for you :

I thought the sign was supposed to be on the other side of the road? Opposite from where they marked LOC?

I'm 99.9% sure those markings are standard utility / public works markings and have nothing to do with the TP welcome sign.
