Does anyone else think that the upcoming dates mentioned on the documents could be dates where we may get some further teasers for the show?

I know this is most likely wishful thinking but it's something to hold onto for now.

Although to be honest, yesterday was so exciting I'm probably sated for a wee while yet. Don't want to be greedy.

It's a head-scratcher for sure. If it does indeed end up being just a mistake, it really is awfully sloppy- and so easily avoidable. At this point though- who knows? Perhaps there's a reason behind it. No idea how- but we shall see.

The weird thing is, the correct tattoo for the log lady is actually featured on the cover of the book (underneath the dust jacket). I believe that was only seen in the leaked (then pulled) pics from this morning.
Well, there's always screenshots :) :

I too am interested in what this supposed "leak" was. Does anyone have a link, or info on what it was exactly? Thanks in advance.

For some comparison:

Kenneth Arnold's sighting actually occurred on the 24th, though it's the 25th in the TP timeline... believable enough typo; the Arnold sighting isn't dated in the above memo, but you would assume it took place on the 23rd from what comes afterwards, haha.

As for any/all of the TP universe specifics, I'm not bothered by continuity errors personally. Which is funny, considering I'm generally detail-oriented (see above).
Very, very excited for what lies ahead. :D

This is the biggest thing to me after the season 3 announcement!
Very cool trailer. I liked that ending. It's like the matrix of Twin Peaks is glitching. A "distruption" maybe? Could be a thing in the new season.

Battis' book (shown here) is the big one where they switched it to 1990. There may be another one or two? But by season 2 they had switched back to 1989.
Ah, never realised that, thanks

Just pre-ordered my copy. Was gonna wait but I also snagged Laura's diary and the Duke work Reflections for reading in the meantime.

Might as well utilize my 30-day free trial

Any other hot tips? I passed on Cooper's tapes but could be talked into it. I see a lot of quoting from that work on this site.

I had mentioned this before but if anyone wants to see the leaked pages, just shoot me a PM. Happy to send them but will not post them in the thread, don't want any of the admins to get in trouble.

Do we think the entire book will be a series of documents and dossiers? Do you think we'll have any more answers than we did before we first opened the book? Or will be as confused as ever, having to put together the cryptic clues with no clear answers in sight?

If they did that I will be really pissed. Sure, not everyone loved Annie, but like it or not she played an important role in the end of season two, she had a brief appearance in the theatrical cut of FWWM and she was in the Missing Pieces. "How's Annie?" Come on, if she's gone, just... wtf.

Twin Peaks clearly has a need for a continuity department.

It's the downside to all the secrecy. Mark and David perhaps were the only ones working on this stuff and had maybe only a few people to fact check with.

Agreed! They needed a superfan to fact check. Many of us have the show pretty much memorized after 25 years. Mark and David may have only watched it a couple times(?)

Believe me- no one would be more pissed than me. But we shall see how they deal with (or don't) Annie...
