Final Dossier Spoilers
Not sure if anyone is a member of the Twin Peaks:DiaLOG group on Facebook but a fellow member called Pietro Cascia appears to have had an advance copy of TFD and read it and is dispensing huge spoilers on the following thread:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/309331072838846/
He seems to be very good with hiding big spoilers below tags and will only spoil as much as requested, so if you just want to know minor things and not have huge elements spoiled it is quite good for that, but be very careful.
Warning: There is about 10x more closure on hot season 3 topics than I ever would have expected.

Re: Final Dossier Spoilers
In case anyone isn't a member, I'll put some of his answers below. Naturally HUGE SPOILERS to follow:
Q: How long is it?
Did you liked it?
Any info on Judy, the girl from the 50s and Cooper and Diane's final plan?
Q: Who is Judy and what happened to Audrey
Q: What does the book say about Gordon? And what is the nature of Judy?
Q:Any discussion regarding the woodsmen or the vortices?
Q: is there anything in the book which might question its own credibility or would you say it is to be seen as canon on balance?
Also, any mention of Red?

Re: Final Dossier Spoilers
There's a lot there that would have been useful for any continuation, so if Frost's tying everything up like this, it looks like it's done.
Thanks so much, the spoilers have made me want to read the book all the more!

Re: Final Dossier Spoilers
Then again they could have put it in S3 but chose to go completely elsewhere instead, so it doesn't really rule anything out.Pinky wrote:There's a lot there that would have been useful for any continuation, so if Frost's tying everything up like this, it looks like it's done.

Or, in part, stuff they discussed but not in a way that was ever meant to end up in a scene. Character building necessary to get into the mindset to write the actual scenes. Lynch has often said he likes to imagine what his characters are up to, Frost likes to go the extra mile and tell us stuff like the characters' favourite books... imho it's not farfetched to think that they talked about, for example, Bobby's developments throughout these 25 years, or James', or Gersten's. But I agree that they weren't ever interested in putting this background information in the show.Mr. Reindeer wrote:Hester Prynne wrote:Spoiler:Spoiler:

I agree with all of this. I think some probably came from discussions with Lynch during scripting and some was Mark filling in gaps after the fact, and we’ll never know what material falls into what category.laughingpinecone wrote:Or, in part, stuff they discussed but not in a way that was ever meant to end up in a scene. Re: Final Dossier Spoilers
One thing I dont get is that even though this takes places after Season 3,it still mentions that Laura is dead and Leland killed her.Wonder if Cooper did save her or not

Re: Final Dossier Spoilers
Cooper didn't save her in our universe.

I wonder if Tammy learned her turgid, redundant and stilted writing style at grad school, or is it an FBI thing?bowisneski wrote:I created an imgur album for those that might not be able to access the preview otherwise.
