The waiter vs Dougie (SPOILERS)
I can't help but think of the waiter from s02e01 every time we see "DougieCoop" on screen. The slow movement, the repetitive way he speaks, the way he walks.
I'm starting to think, did the waiter spend as many year in the waiting room as Coop, thus sharing so many features?

HA!!!!
That older guy at Beulah's reminded me a LOT of Hank Worden / Senor Droolcup.
The way he moved his head, that facial expression of a shy smile in an old man, etc.
Maybe HE got portal'ed and ended up as the kinda slow/braindead waiter at the GN after all? Back in time?
Nothing is impossible.

But then wouldn't Droolcup also have an evil doppelgänger?

Same here... Otis. Same mannerisms. In that same scene, there's a 'giant' and a 'little man' sat beside each other, and it seems to have escaped comment somehow, unless I missed it...dronerstone wrote:HA!!!!

.
Also the guy looking for Sheriff Truman ("it's about insurance!") acts a lot like the medicated Philip Gerard. As I typed that I also wondered about the insurance connection in light of the Dougie plot line...
Re: The waiter vs Dougie
I think of the waiter scene too, but there's also a level of Dale dealing with the waiter. He's hurt, incapacitated, in need of help but like with the waiter everyone insists on doing their jobs, giving him the milk so to speak, without giving him that help.
