No i haven't read the book, but i was able to follow the plot easy enough. I don't get why some reviews went as far as to say it was incomprehensible? Seemed pretty straightforward to meAnnie wrote:Oops! I alerted dugpa about that one.

I hadn't read the book, either, at the time I saw it. But I've always loved it--except for the very end when it rains (that was too much.)
If you're a reader, you'd probably like the Frank Herbert books. I can't really recommend the prequels, although I like the first few.
