Hi, I'm looking for a song that they started to use halfway through season 2. It can be heard in episode 10: Dispute Between Brothers at the 17:16 mark and onwards for a couple of minutes.
I've tried to look through some of the threads here, but couldn't find anything. Can anyone help me out!?
Thanks

Do you mean episode 17 on the Gold Box?

Yes, I'm guessing the original poster means episode 10 of season 2, which would indeed be episode 17. Which scene in particular are you wondering about?Jerry Horne wrote:Do you mean episode 17 on the Gold Box?

Re: Looking for song from season 2
At 17:15 in S2 E10 music stops playing:
[Mix] 15:24-17:15
a. Freshly Squeezed (Fast Cool Jazz Solo Bass) [Released]
b. Audrey's Dance (Percussion & Clarinets) [Released]
c. Laura Palmer's Theme [Released]
Next one is (and I think that is the one mentioned in the first post):
[Mix] 18:00-20:30
a. Laura Palmer's Theme (Letter From Harold) [Released under this name but it should be 'Guardian Angels"]
b. Sneaky Audrey (Solo Synth) [Unreleased yet]
Both mixes are unreleased in a mixed form - only solo tracks are released (except last one).

The scene I'm talking about is when Catherine comes back when she has been missing in the woods and tells Truman about Guardian Angels.
So a song called Guardian Angeles makes sense qbin2001
But it has little variations on the other scenes I have seen.
I Have both the season cd's and the first bundle from the lynch site, and they are not on those.

Re: Looking for song from season 2
Laura Palmer's Theme (Letter From Harold) (aka Guardian Angels Version was released in Diary Bundle.
It's not exactly the same as in the episode, because:
* released track is really mixed from two versions of this track (so called Pete and Catherine versions) - more info about it was in my previous post in this thread when 'Diary Bundle' was released
* it was reedited while scoring episode - Catherine version was looped and unreleased Sneaky Audrey (Solo Synth) was added
Probably we'll never get 'series' version of this track (but maybe Dean will mix it for us someday).
