Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr
Given how little is left on Ross' Unreleased list (give or take any that are unfortunately missing), I'd imagine next week's is the final Odds and Ends Bundle, and the one after that being, effectively, Everything Else.
Still, very much looking forward to this; there's a lot to be excited about!
My most-wanted:
-Any unused tunes (perhaps Earle's Theme [Strings] is buried under a different name?)
-Wheeler's Theme (Alternate)
-Stair Music / Danger Theme (Full)
-Percussion Hi-Hats

Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr
Hey folks, i've been travelling and not had a chance to properly catch up with releases;
But out of interest, what is the differences between Gt Northern Piano Tune #3 and #4? I have only listened to the pair a couple of times, and I believe #3 is longer, but I don't recall a difference, can anyone comment?
EDIT:
Also I didn't think there would be any other gems, but Half Heart annnnd the Voice of Love! Amazing!
Can we get an official release of Audrey's Prayer slow speed??? (Major and Bobby in the Diner)

Freshly Squeezed (fast cool jazz clean) is NOT Dance of The Dream Man (mute solo). Different percussion and speed.DEniZZrus wrote:- Dance of The Dream Man (mute solo) aka Freshly Squeezed (fast cool jazz clean)
It's been said in this thread (by Dean/Dugpa) that it is lost...DEniZZrus wrote:- Sneaky Audrey - The Chip (Little Elvis) aka Sneaky Audrey (reprise)
It's probably only sound effect/few notes (but cute)DEniZZrus wrote:- Spelunking
They are not "One and the same"DEniZZrus wrote:- The Red Room Noise aka The Giant Theme
Also Dance of the Dream Man (Original Solo Sax) - I want that one so badly...DEniZZrus wrote:And among other outtakes...
And different version of Owl Cave - there are versions in the series that are slightly different. Any alternative version is highly wanted

Anyway I mean Lana/Jacoby scene, it's the only unreleased FS/DOTDM track, isn't it? (not including unused versions)Freshly Squeezed (fast cool jazz clean) is NOT Dance of The Dream Man (mute solo). Different percussion and speed.
From release's note: "the additional 'reprised' version of 'Sneaky Audrey' that appears in episode 4 of the series was not located for this release" Is it lost at all really???It's been said in this thread (by Dean/Dugpa) that it is lost...
OK. But The Red Room Noise is part of The Giant's Theme. Right? They are not "One and the same"

And to be specific it should be (both uses alternate background music):DEniZZrus wrote:Freshly Squeezed (fast cool jazz clean)
Freshly Squeezed (Fast Cool Jazz 2 Drums and Bass) or
Dance of the Dream Man (Fast Soprano Clarinet Drums and Bass).
Freshly Squeezed (Fast Cool Jazz) used standard Dance of the Dream Man (Drum and Bass) version.

But imho this one is most clear. Like tinnitus.I think that there are 2-3 similar Giant/Red Room sound effects that were used in the series.

Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr
Side note...
From the official note:
From the official note:
In fact if you listen closely, you can hear Freshly Squeezed (Bass Clarinet) version instead of Audrey's Dance. It bugged me that this track doesn't fit as it should to Audrey's Dance. It's because Freshly Squeezed has little different tempo then Audrey's Dance... Another little discovery...ONE ARMED MAN THEME (SOLO CLARINET IMPROVISATION)
As evident from this stripped-down recording, the clarinet solo that became the 'One Armed Man Theme' originated as an improvisational take over 'Audrey's Dance' (a closer listen will reveal a floor of headphone bleed from the original basic track).
