Where did Dumbland premiere?

Post by misterroundheels »

I distinctly remember there being maybe two or three episodes of Dumbland already released on some website before the launch of DavidLynch.com, where it had its home for years after. Am I crazy? Am I Mandela-effecting myself? Does anyone else remember this?

I can't speak to whether or not you're crazy, but I remember Dumbland being on atomfilms.com, I think it was the first two episodes.

I think dl_fan is correct. You can find lots of news articles from 2000 that mention Dumbland would be available on Shockwave.com:

According to Wikipedia, "Shockwave.com merged with Atom Corporation and formed Atom Entertainment in 2001." Lynch.net says that the first two episodes of Dumbland were available via Atom Films:

http://www.lynchnet.com/dumbland/

The link to watch the episodes was:

http://atomfilms.shockwave.com/af/extre ... /dumbland/

Of course, that site ran on Flash, so it's not easy/possible to view it now.
