Re: Lynch 3 kickstarter
Lynch 3 goes under the name "David Lynch the art life" by now and has been released to film festivals (it premiered on Venice Film Festival 2016) and will be widely released this spring. It's the same folks behind both Lynch (one) and David Lynch the art life. I watched it yesterday actua...

Re: SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime SPOILERS Thread
It was a bet about the release date of the show and most of the folks with the Evelyn avatars are the losers of the bet (like me for example), then there are some other members who just changed theirs for the fun of it.Aerozhul wrote:Just curious as to why so many people suddenly have Evelyn avatars.

I also voted for April but it's just a feeling (I'm not knowing anything specific about the release date).

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3
Yes, it is. I just finished watching all of the 8 episodes last week and today I started to see the whole thing again. It's got a lot of different elements. It's scary, funny and also sad at times.N. Needleman wrote:The Kingdom/Riget is a work of art.

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3
To everyone who hasn't seen it yet, I recommend to watch the documentary Mini-series The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst. I liked it even more after watching it the second time.

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
I don't know why but according to amazon.de the german version of the book will now be released on november 17 instead of october 18. And what is even more surprising to me is that they increased the price to 39.90 Euros that's about 45 dollars. Hopefully they'll go down a little bit until the book ...

That's fantastic news, thanks Hopper. I loved the first album This Train she did with Lynch.

Re: The Unorthodox/Controversial TP Opinion Thread
My controversial opinion that I am unashamed of - and am actually kind of shocked is controversial (maybe not on dugpa but certainly elsewhere in the Twin Peaks fandom) is that I love the Just You sequence. It's so quintessentially Lynch to me, pure goofy-innocent 50s teen culture, reminding me of ...

Re: End credits sequence
As you already said, it probably is just Lynchs way to end this movie by assembling some people he likes (Laura Elena Harring) or whose work he admires (Nastassja Kinski). Nonetheless I've always liked to watch the whole dance sequence. I remember when I watched it in our local cinema a couple years...
