Re: What is your Twin Peaks unpopular opinion?

Not unpopular opinions by any means but likely minority ones: 01) I'm down with Season 2 Back in the day, I had zero problems with Season 2. Everything seemed endearing and interesting. Even when Andy and Dick were trespassing to get their hands on Little Nicky's file, I was 100% into it. In fact du...

Re: What is your Twin Peaks unpopular opinion?

I disagree because they must have cared about Twin Peaks a great deal to have gone to the trouble to make another installment. It was a huge effort, and years of work. It's as though, artistically speaking, we were seeking something very specific and particular at one point in our lives, then stumbl...

Re: What is your Twin Peaks unpopular opinion?

I get you, Earle. I found the latest installment to be enthralling but at times very off-putting. There were many ups and downs. It's hard to explain because I loved so much of it. Guess I can't get over how much precious time and effort was wasted on things like bad musical performances that had no...

Re: Twin Peaks “Long Take” Challenge

Things have been surprisingly slow on this board, given that we’re in a quarantine and we all have “no place to go...BUT HOME!” Experiencing it as a parent that is now working from home, the lockdown has been very taxing and demanding, but everyone's situation is different. However, I'm here multip...

Re: Ranks

Well, I'm extremely fond of Dead Dog Farm for one. Additionally, members could dwell in castaway places such as

-Mauve Room
-The Fireman's
-Odessa
-Judy's

or even the Hospital Basement...!

I believe that it's merely a matter of time. The delightful shock of Twin Peaks returning after decades off the air has made me a total optimist in this regard.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

The filming of The Return was almost five years ago (yeah, shocking, but there it is), the writing of it way before that. I've seen Lynch's recent photos/videos (from the last year) and he looks much more out of shape than he did when The Return was being made. I don't see it but if it truly were t...

Re: Frost on 'Midnight in the Desert' 2/11/20

Couldn't get the broadcast to load. I did end up crawling into bed at 1:19 though. This morning I was pondering what might have been discussed on the show. It got me thinking about Richard and his situation, in relation to Mark's father Warren, which in turn led me to the speculate and wonder if a b...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

It doesn't really matter that Josie, Leo, and Windom were deceased. For example, if it had been Leo wearing the Truck You shirt and hitting on Sarah Palmer, would that have surprised anyone or felt out of place? At that point in the show, we'd ventured into some very trippy territory. Even something...

Re: Best Season Finale Cliffhanger?

Don't you mean

S1: "Agent Cooper?"

You know, I didn't realize it until this very moment, but man, that Season 1 cliffhanger is so very reminiscent of Mr. C's briefcase call. In both scenes, a perplexed Coop responds to a distorted voice from the phone by asking, "Who is this?"
