Re: Twin Peaks scene identification help!
For what it's worth, from that description I totally said to myself "Sounds like they are just talking about the Falling music video."

Re: R.Hester illustrator
Thanks for the info! I guess it only makes sense that it would be by him considering it's in the video about him. I'd just never seen the image before, and it's quite nice!

R.Hester illustrator
At the start of a video I recently saw on Bruce Bickford's Twin Peaks clay work, there is an illustration that I've never seen before. I was wondering if anyone here could help identify it. I received a "board attachment quota reached" error when trying to upload it, so here is a link inst...

Re: Deleted Scenes from the Pilot
Probably because of the low quality of footage. Plus, they've been around for decades on VHS and now Torrent sites.MoondogJR wrote:Wow, these are fantastic! Not all from the pilot though.
Why aren't these on the blu ray?

Re: ERASERHEAD Filming Locations
Sure, it's 2.5 years later, but I thought you'd all enjoy this graphic I made. I shows that the Eraserhead shot of the tunnel entrance is actually in Wild at Heart as well! Who knew that several scenes in Wild at Heart were actually filmed in the same location as Eraserhead!? These are all just loca...

Re: Eraserhead being released by Criterion Collection
That is one of the cheapest cover designs for a Criterion that I've ever seen. Thankfully, they changed the cover design (the final design isn't what is on iTunes, nor is it what Jerry Horne posted just a few posts up). It's all been tightened up for a better design. Unfortunately, there's that whi...

Re: FWWM altered minorly after initial US theatrical release
Agreed. I have definitely seen many film prints over the years, and I never remember it fading to white. I just wanted to see if there was consensus on this IMDB fact... so far it looks like it's unverified.jmichael wrote:Having just seen a film print, I can say it faded to black when Chet touched the ring.

FWWM altered minorly after initial US theatrical release?
I read this on IMDB today, and had never heard of it. I know anyone can just submit to IMDB, so wanted to verify that it was true. "In the original US theatrical release, the scene where Agent Desmond disappears concludes by fading to white. The director altered the video release so it fades to...

Re: Frank Silva interview footage?
They are both from the same Japanese interview. I sent it to you and Amanda in full to play (with other discs) at the Fest. Ahh, okay, I'll have to go through them then. She was more in charge of that aspect of the fest. I was always doing the two back-to-back 3-hour-long bus tours when those video...

Frank Silva interview footage?
Does anyone know what the source is for the footage of Frank Silva in the 1992 FWWM video press kit below? I've linked to the 2 specific points where he is featured. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApGwFJ8u_ao#t=319 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApGwFJ8u_ao#t=379 I would love to see the full inter...

Re: Bob Engels Interview Pt. 2: Story Behind Phillip Jeffrie
And as for the boos, he said the same thing at USC. But Roger Ebert (who was also at the Cannes screening, or a Cannes screening, on the film) reported that the film was booed in a '92 article, and others have claimed this as well. I'd love to read where Roger Ebert reported the booing. My issue is...

Re: Questions for Bob Engels
I would ask him about the supposed booing of FWWM at Cannes. It's always reported, but I believe he and others say it never happened. Ask him if he has ever heard a film be booed at Cannes, and how some actors from it seem to remember hearing boos. Were there multiple showings? That could account fo...

Re: A Rough Guide to making your own FWWM Extended Cut
I'm providing you all with updated transparent screen text images to use in your own fan edits. When I originally made the screen text for Q2, I was using the French Blu-ray image for reference. That Blu-ray has significantly different coloring (more muted white, and grey black instead of pure black...
