Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
I don’t know if this has been discussed here but I came across this (translated) interview with Sherilyn Fenn. There is no link to the source so take it with a grain of salt. Russian newspaper Izvestia spoke with Sherilyn Fenn on the eve of the premiere at the Moscow Film Festival of the new film &q...

I just can’t understand why LFB would sign on for this film but passed on Twin Peaks.

Re: The timeline of the key passage from Laura's diary (SPOILERS)
Seems some people are getting way too fixated on continuity. Did we really need a scene in FWWM of Laura knocking on Harold's door on the day of her death like "Oh hi Harold I know I said I might never come back but there's just a couple more things I need to write in my diary ok thanks bye&quo...

Re: Annie Speculation (SPOILERS)
I love the idea of Hawk finding Laura's diary pages of Annie's warning that Cooper is trapped in the lodge. But what use are they going to be to anyone now that he's out?

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
I am also working on removing the text from the forest footage from the recap video last week.If anyone wants the footage just pm me i think there was a version of the tree footage in an Australian promo that doesnt have the text Yes, Stan has posted several short teaser versions of their own. You ...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
Withholding a trailer cartainly amplifies the curiosity of existing fans but will unlikely draw the attention of many potential new viewers. I also suspect that once the first four episodes have dropped trailers full of footage from these eps will be pumped out in mass.

Re: POLL: Predict BOB for S3 [Book spoilers permitted]
OK now I'm prayin' there was some unused footage of Silva from FWWM that didn't make it into the Missing Pieces precisely because Lynch was saving it to use in S3. Regardless of how BOB is portrayed, I would love to see his image at least once, even if it's in the form of the "Have you Seen th...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
I saw this on the imdb trivia - wondering if this can be verified anywhere. The network originally planned a "soft" marketing campaign, believing that the hype generated by the shows revival would be substantial enough to hook those too young to know of Twin Peaks original '90's run. The r...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Another trailer / book discrepancy: the Buick receipt in the trailer looks old and weathered, ie authentic. In the book it is in pristine condition even though it is supposedly almost 70 years old... I also noticed this receipt, like the archivists notes, used capital I's instead of 1's. Made me su...

Re: SPOILERS: Inconsistencies in the Secret History of Twin Peaks
I've always felt like Annie was too important to simply be retconned out. They could've just said she recovered and moved away, or died later in hospital. Doppelgänger Coop would want her out of the picture since she is one of the only people who could've blown his cover. Also perhaps Briggs - but h...

Re: SPOILERS: Inconsistencies in the Secret History of Twin Peaks
I can forgive all of these errors except for two that really stand out to me because they were a significant part of season 2's narrative. Pete playing checkers and Norma's mother. I haven't finished reading the book yet but do these changes really serve the narrative?

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
I like this theory too. If Annie's existence and warning to Laura has been erased and this becomes part of the plot/mystery in season 3, that would explain why Heather Graham's name was left off the cast list.crossoverman wrote:I am liking John Thorne's thoughts about the nature of time in Twin Peaks.
