Re: Twin Peaks Reunion in Entertainment Weekly
Also a ton of nasty comments about people's appearance- especially James. Which is sad. James has had some pretty serious health issues in the past, and I'm excited to see him back. I like the way James looks now. The shaved head and the serious look kind of reminds me of Billy Corgan. I think he l...

Re: The endings of Twin Peaks
A good friend of mine guessed it was Leland a few minutes into the very first episode I showed him (either the pilot or the first non-pilot episode, forget what I put on). Anyone else on here had Leland as their first guess? I saw FWWM before the series so I couldn't ever say who I would have thoug...

Re: The endings of Twin Peaks
Did anyone else think that maybe Maddy would still be alive after episode 14? I remember that first watch and actually thought she might still be alive (especially after the first season cliffhanger had left so many in danger only to be just fine.) Of course as soon as ep 15 starts we know otherwis...

Re: Least Favorite Storyline in Twin Peaks
Also, I really like the idea of Little Nicky being a host for BOB or maybe some of the other Lodge spirits. Talk about a terrifying possibility!

Re: Least Favorite Storyline in Twin Peaks
maybe an unpopular opinion, but i could not care less about the josie / eckhart / andrew stuff. It took me a looooong time to appreciate any plots concerning the mill. First the Catherine-Ben-Josie stuff bored me and then the later stuff with Eckhart perhaps bored me even more. I remember enjoying ...

Re: Least Favorite Storyline in Twin Peaks
I don't know, I've been watching the JJW eps recently and I think he and Audrey look cute together. Zane is terrible in the role but the writing is not bad, I like the interaction between them. If only Zane wasn't so dorky. Still I don't find it so bad in general. I think Zane does the best he can ...

Re: Episode 25
This episode generated a lot of questions for me on this rewatch, and some observations: 1. Annie's characterization in this episode is much more interesting seen through the lens of TSHOTP, and makes her so much more enigmatic. Her talking about how out of place she feels to Shelly and especially l...

I went to B&N today looking for the magazine, and it wasn't there.WhiteLodge90 wrote:vicksvapor77 wrote:Just a head's up, the Hurley's cover is a Barnes and Noble exclusive the contents page says at the bottom!
Thanks! I'll check one out tomorrow. Wonder if the other two are exclusives to certain stores as well?

Re: Least Favorite Storyline in Twin Peaks
I picked the Little Nicky storyline mostly because of the terrible scene that ended it - Doc Hayward, Lucy, Dick and Andy in the conference room. Possibly the worst, most over the top and embarrassingly stupid scene of the entire series. Andy and Dick unconvincingly bawling their eyes out as if this...

Re: Least Favorite Storyline in Twin Peaks
I liked the Miss Twin Peaks storyline especially for the epic payoff with the cool strobe light chaos. That was a very cool and creepy moment for me. But maybe I'm in the minority there. Who knows. We may be in the minority, but I liked that a lot, too. Really except for the stupid impressionistic ...

Re: Lara Flynn Boyle putting paid to Cooper and Audrey romance?
1992 was a very different time for the cast of Twin Peaks. Despite the show's cancellation and its decline in popularity, the cast members (particularly the younger ones) were a hot property at the time, and were being courted by Hollywood for roles in feature films. Boyle and MacLachlan in particul...

Re: Episode 22
This episode isn't quite as bad as some make it out to be, IMO. I think it gets a lot of flack for Keaton's stylistic choices, maybe more because of the fact that she's a famous actress playing director rather than her actual direction - I wonder if it would be as derided if it were a no-name direct...

Re: Twin Peaks at SXSW
This may sound like an ignorant question but....that's not Sherilyn Fenn in that picture with Kyle and the guy in the red Killer BOB shirt, is it? Just a woman that is dressed like her?

-The distracting clown face on the wall in the Johnson house. The thought of Leo hanging that decoration is really funny. -. YES! That clown face gets me every time, haha. Leo is a fascinating, terrible creature. I've noticed on this rewatch just how horrible Leo's house really is. What a depressin...
