Re: A Question For Original TP Viewers
I'm sure I'll never find it now, but I remember writing up a couple paragraphs of what I thought might happen. Can't remember much except that I expected the "chess game" aspect to play out more than it did, perhaps with citizens of Twin Peaks on a giant chessboard. In retrospect, that's a...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread
Sort of. The Flash gets trapped in a mirror (courtesy of villain Mirror Master) and speaks in reverse. One of the characters (Cisco, who makes all the pop culture references) mentions the Man from Another Place, but nobody else seems to get it.

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
I was at Frost's panel at the Texas Book Festival today. Not much new, but a couple things: He confirmed that Volume II is coming after the Showtime season, ad it will fit the original description of filling in the missing 25 years between seasons. He said there's a hidden clue in the Bookhouse shel...

There's also a lampshade with the Red Room floor pattern in one episode. Blink and you'll miss it.

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Am I the only one who thinks that any inconsistencies are just errors (or oversights/retcons?). It's a big ass book, from all accounts he wrote it fairly quickly (as he seemed to indicate that he did the bulk of it while on set), and just generally I've found these really intense fan theories for v...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
> Anyone up for listing all the geographical references to both Twin Peaks and Deer Meadow in show & film to see how tragically they don't line up? In the pilot Cooper says the body of Teresa Banks was found in a town in the southwest corner of the state (without specifically mentioning Deer Mea...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
I can't find it right now, but I liked the reference in the book to the oddness of the Philadelphia bureau chief being in charge of these investigations in the Pacific Northwest. We know the reason (Cole's Blue Rose cases), but it's funny that no one ever questioned this in the original series. Also...

It's on the plaque on page 163. Hawk is a running back, Toad is an offensive lineman, Frank is just listed as "Team Captain."

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Finished the book last night and just read through this thread and I think I need a Silkwood shower. Things seem to have calmed down some, but I couldn't help but wonder what this forum would have looked like on opening weekend of Fire Walk with Me . A cautionary tale as the new season approaches. I...

I didn't get that. Pretty sure I pre-ordered the day it appeared on Amazon. Maybe it has something to do with warehouse locations?

Re: Showtime to Re-broadcast Original Series Early Next Year
It's a US channel. But maybe it was Crimes & Investigation I'm thinking of. I just remember happening upon a second season Twin Peaks episode on some channel I never watched around that time.Is Sleuth/Cloo a UK channel?

Re: Showtime to Re-broadcast Original Series Early Next Year
That cable channel Sleuth, now known as Cloo, was rerunning them circa 2007 or so.would this be the first airing of Peaks in the US since Bravo in the 90s?
