I've definitely heard that about the latter scene, but from my understanding there are production documents suggesting the Winkie's scene was shot as part of the pilot even though it wasn't in the eventual cut (and may not have been scripted). you got me there! i didint know that... Who knows... My guess is that whatever it is, it's not necessary if that is new footage or anything, but it's highly symbolic nature. Typically Lynch/Peaks to me. A somewhat tattered Laura photo which we already know but maybe not in this context, along with Coop "stepping out of the dark"...

The low visual quality is surprising considering how much better it looks elsewhere on YouTube. Still incredibly exciting though! We're almost here... I've never seen the trailer looking any better than that. Neither have I. My mistake, it was the differing aspect ratio which threw me off. Sorry!
