Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
I believe this would be more appropriate here rather than in the "spoilers" thread. Has anyone attemped recognising which voice actors play which parts in the audiobook? It sound to me that Kyle McLachlan is behind Robert Jacoby's voice. And I know for a fact (I have listened to other aud...

Re: POLL: Predict BOB for S3 [Book spoilers permitted]
My votes: "Lokalike actor portraying Bob" and "BOB without a human appearance...". If it turns out we get a new lookalike actor portraying Bob, it would be reasonable to expect it being an actor of the same age as Frank Silva - if he was still alive. This because it would be inco...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
Amazon is really something.........: A couple of weeks ago I ordered The Secret History of TP, Laura Palmer's diary (lost it years ago) and Wrapped in Plastic. Amazon responded it would be 18-32 days to arrive at my place. Yesterday I got a mail saying delivery was delayed 2 days - from 9th to 11th...

Re: Does Anyone Dislike Episode 29?
Just because it's important to the plot doesn't necessarily mean it's compelling material. Couldn't agree more. Even at 14 (back in '91) I found Earle boring and extremely out of place. Cartoonish characters like that just don't fit well with the TP universe IMO, especially not as a villain. And it...

It's kind of fascinating that my Norwegian provider a couple of days ago e-mailed me that I will get my copy on Monday, while many of you Americans(?) with your Amazon orders might get it later. This is not how the world should be. Still,

Re: Twin Peaks Poll - First Time
How did you first experience Twin Peaks? Let me know if I've missed an option. Original Norwegian broadcast 90-91. Have a definite feeling though, that most Europeans here voted the "Original Airing in 1990/1991"-option and not the "Original Airing Outside of US"-option. No way ...

Re: What is the audience?
Maybe I don't understand this, but according to Wikipedia, the Blue Velvet budget was $6 million, and box office in North America alone was $8.6. What it made in Europe and Asia/Japan it doesn't say, but seems to me it did well and was more than profitable. Didn't check on the other DL-films. Oh, I...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread
Wonder if the footage of the woods are shot for the series. The trees seem a bit small for Twin Peaks? Expected Douglas firs looking that old to be larger. But what do I know. Still loving it.
