Re: Twin Peaks...Under The Sycamore Tree.
What a delightful article. Thanks for putting the work in! I've been rewatching TP over the past few months and I've only got the finale left so I found this at just the right time. I love that you weren't afraid of making any and every connection that felt interesting to you. I loved the Osiris/Is...

Twin Peaks...Under The Sycamore Tree.
I used to post over at 'Twin Peaks Gazette' until it went south (boo!)...and I thought that perhaps, a few here might in interested in a post I've done on my 'blog site' (which is mainly Kubrick oriented, but I'm getting around to adding in Lynch etc). The main body is about the 'esoteric aspects' o...

Eyes Wide Shut (based on Traumnovelle/Dream Story) ...can't think of anything more suitable than that tbh.

Yes...a feeling I remember only too well, after having first view. Repeated viewings can only enrich your appreciation.

Re: Mysteryman's whisper
I think the contents are irrelevant...more an echo of Laura's whisper to Coop, that type of thing.

Re: Anyone agree that this soundtrack is possibly his best?
I really rate this soundtrack... Hollywood Sunset is my personal fav and like the others here...I would kill for an extended version. The book-ended Bowie track is sublime and Angelo's Dub Driving is also a killer. I think it all works rather well tbh and I just love watching Lost Highway...one of m...

Re: Eraserhead blu-ray scheduled for September
Not sure about this Aussie release...but I have on order a copy of the german release through amazon.de...and I can't wait. Once I get this I only have to get The Straight Story and then I am complete for 'blu-ray' of all of David's features. Don't ask me about the german subtitles (removable or not...
