Re: Twin Peaks receives fan-made Atari 2600 game 'Black Lodg
Hmmm... I've played a little more and managed to follow the giant's advice... I get to the convenience store and it seems that someone speaks to me at this time (BOB ?) but, as I'm French, I've got problems to understand what it is ? Fire, could you help me on this point ? By the way, I've eventuall...

Re: Twin Peaks receives fan-made Atari 2600 game 'Black Lodg
I've been playing "another game" for a while but still was unable to beat it !
I've met the Giant... But after this, I still have to run far away from my doppleganger... Am I wrong ?
I guess I have to use its second clue but do I have to run for this ?

Re: Entering Twin Peaks for the first time
Do you remember your first memory of Twin Peaks? What was it like? What did you feel? I've discovered TP (and Lynch) in a rather strange way. I'm French. Remember this. At highschool, a very unconventionnal English teacher used to show us movies. In English of course and with no subtitles (hard for...

Cool isn't the word that comes to my mind.
Weird.
Yes, it looks weird !
However... This is a very old school kind of game.
My best score is around 1400 points.
At least, the game is very fast.

Re: Between Two Worlds: Josie's Fate
"Who do you think it is ?" is very different from "Who's this guy ?"
Jeffries doesn't only distrusts Dale... He also try, in some way, to make the others distrust him too.
Very unlikely if he hadn't seen him before.

Re: Between Two Worlds: Josie's Fate
I think it's the later - that he's been in the Lodge and saw what would be considered the future. He is clearly from the same time frame as Gordon, Cooper and Albert - they all know him and Albert references his being missing for a year. But even if Jeffries came from a time proceeding the finale e...

Re: Between Two Worlds: Josie's Fate
i don't see it likely that the Jeffries scene is from the future, only because we need to make a lot of assumptions at that point. Most notably that The dale/bob conflict was resolved and dale was essentially back to normal. Err... No. Unless I have missed something. The scene isn't from the future...

Re: Love MD but hate the ending
Is the end really sad ? I wonder ? At the end, isn't she free ? Diane has made something horrible. She pays the price and, leaving this world, she reminds only the good time, leaving behind her all her sins and the last few weeks that were just... awfull. For Blue Velvet, there's a happy end but I s...

Re: Between Two Worlds: Josie's Fate
There are other examples of time reversal. When the one armed man speaks to Leland/Laura while they're in the car (FWWM), he "clearly" refers to Laura's death as it had already happen. (quote from memory : "You should have seen the look on her face when it was opened. There was a stil...

Re: Introductions
Hi folks. :) Perno, aka Frédéric in the real life. 36 year old, married, 2 children, science teacher. I love alla kind of game (tabletop miniatures, boardgames, roleplaying games...) I've discovered Lynch about 17 years ago during my English Lessons in Highschool. My English teacher showed us Twin...

Re: Mystery Man?
Is Mystery Man Bob ? No. But he's certainly a relative. I like to see Bob as the personnification of Anger and Lust (well... mostly Lust). To me, the Mystery Man is the personnification of Jealousy. I don't know if he comes from the Black Lodge but in this case, there are some other deadly sins that...
