That mirror scene!
Wow, Bob, wow!

Re: Part 5 (SPOILERS)
I think the discussion about Hawk and his heritage could be dealing with the Owl Cave Ring. I wonder if any of the Teresa Banks files are in the boxes of case files Hawk is going through. In FWWM they were always looking for that ring. Perhaps Hawk discovers that the ring was missing, he sees the symbol on the ring from the Teresa Banks picture, figures out that the symbol matches the one in Owl Cave and finds the truth about the ring and its origin.
Re: Part 5 (SPOILERS)
On repeated viewing the Truman and Doris scene is really not that bad or hard to actually see happening. At first I thought it was a tough view.
I wasn't on board with backwards Sonny Jim blink initially but third viewing did it. I feel like something is there. I like the Giant theory.
Still not entirely sold that the black muscle car is just random car thieves. But I could be convinced.
Also- why is the trunk lock missing on Dougies car?
Finally- the way coffee guy says what I'm presuming is "Carrie, Seven Up!" Sounds a lot like coop saying harry in s1, and he says damn good twice. I definitely think those may be clues that we'll see at least a much more normal coop sooner rather than later.

Re: Part 5 (SPOILERS)
What was Bad Cooper doing in that phone call scene? Did he set off some alarms and was it related to the Black Lodge in any way?
Re: Part 5 (SPOILERS)
When all was going bonkers during BadCoop's phone call, we saw a cooking show on one screen and....
a shoe repair shop(?) on the other?

Any link to that interview about Kyle spending only 2 days in that 'mood'? I really hope so as those scenes are getting to prolonged imo.bastia wrote:I think mr strawberry is a pet of the warden. Or someone who he knows for sure. Leland/BoB did the same thing quoting "Pittsburgh" to Coop when Leland was arrested, if you remembered.
About dougy: it's seems clear to me that the good coop is doing a path of re-birth ( i think lynch too said something about that), maybe because he challenged the lodge with incomplete courage ( as hawk warns in season 2). Anyway i think we'll see very little more of dougy. Kyle in his interview said he only shot for two days in that "mood".
I enjoyed the episode very much, soundtrack was great. Pace too.
I am very conflicted about dougy reality. It doesn't seem fictional but... Too many hints. Like "dreamland" and "cow in the moon"

Impractical to let that kind of rot grow surrounded by luxury - what if it spreads - but could be quite a potent image.dkenny78 wrote:
There are a lot of ways they could leave the room untouched/unoccupied. The easiest way is to say Audrey kept the room empty, knowing that Coop would return someday.

I'm also guessing Jacoby is a scam- the cosmic flashlight seems a reference to a past product

One Eyed Jacks was a casino / whorehouse. I can't figure out how you equate this with drug trading.lotjx2 wrote:Ben Horne was part of One Eyed Jacks in some way. He was funneling women there for prostitution and he knew about Leo's activities. Ben was involved in some way.BigEd wrote:Are you missing anything? Yes, a few things:lotjx2 wrote: --Twin Peaks. Am I missing anything?
"once again involves the Horne family" - I don't recall anybody in the Horne family being involved in drug trading in the original series or FWWM
"Jacoby trying to scam people to buy shovels" - not sure how this is a scam. Selling a $10 shovel with $5 of added gold spray paint for $30 (plus S&H) is pretty straight. The buyer wants one of these novelties and is willing to pay a few bucks to have something to show to their friends.
Becky's boyfriend has that same creepy vibe Leo had.
Jacoby is totally scamming people by using his rant to sell a false hope. He might as well be selling Miracle Water.
Many people have "creepy vibes," but that doesn't make them equals. Leo was an awful human being. That doesn't make him the same as Becky's slacker.
Jacoby isn't selling false hope. He's just selling goofy novelty gold shovels.

Bad Coop downloaded the blueprints/tech documents for the prison, so maybe he figured out some codes to hack into the computer/security system to initiate what we saw.NewtoTwinPeaks wrote:What was Bad Cooper doing in that phone call scene? Felt to me like distraction/misdirection while he sent some cryptic message to Buenos Aires.BigEd wrote:Bad Coop downloaded the blueprints/tech documents for the prison, so maybe he figured out some codes to hack into the computer/security system to initiate what we saw.NewtoTwinPeaks wrote:What was Bad Cooper doing in that phone call scene? I'm a bit fuzzy on this. I thought he downloaded the info for the prison where Ray was supposedly being held after crossing the border with firearms. This appeared to be on the other side of the state from Buckhorn. I assume that Bad Coop was driving there when the lodge tried to pull him back. Then he was apprehended. Is he in the same prison as Ray though? Does he still need the info that Ray was supposed to get from Bill Hastings?BigEd wrote:Bad Coop downloaded the blueprints/tech documents for the prison, so maybe he figured out some codes to hack into the computer/security system to initiate what we saw.NewtoTwinPeaks wrote:What was Bad Cooper doing in that phone call scene? I really like this idea. Anything with more Teresa Banks is good with me. I would love for the new episodes to explore the Teresa Banks case/lore whether your idea happens or not.gary2381 wrote:I think the discussion about Hawk and his heritage could be dealing with the Owl Cave Ring.
