Very sad news about Michael Parks. He was an amazingly talented actor, we're so fortunate he was a part of Twin Peaks.

Jean Renault was one of my absolutely top characters of Twin Peaks... What a worthy adversary to Cooper. This is just excruciating for me.

Very sad news. May he rest in peace.
This is - excuse me - a damn fine cup of coffee.

Yeah, this is sad. He was such a lovable low rent production stalwart and I was always happy to see him in anything. Glad Tarantino latched onto him, giving him a little exposure in more well executed projects. I'm a comic book guy, so I also appreciate him as the only person to play Jack "King" Kirby in an actual movie (Argo). He'll be missed.

Also, his performance as the world-weary sot of the real-life 19th-20th century writer Ambrose Bierce in the very underrated From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter cannot be topped - no-one can play a drunk like Parks!

rest in peace to a very talented actor!
did anyone see him in the movie "Tusk" a few years ago, he had a very substantial part.. man what a creepy but bizarre role and he completely embraced it!

It is amazing how many TP losses we've had in the last year. Thoughts are with the family.
