IE screening in LA again

Post by MrBungle »

Looks like it's going to be at the new beverly theatre from the 27th-30th.
I may have to drive from las vegas just to see this on the big screen.

Before you make the trek I should warn you, the New Beverly is not that great a theater. Actually it's a bit rough. Still if that doesn't deter you, by all means...

Just didn't want you making a trip from so far away and expect to come to a comfortable cineplex.

Sure it has a (relatively) big screen but there's springs sticking up in the lumpy seats and the auditorium is more like a, uh...projection room for lack of a better word...

I can't vouch for the sound system though...

I saw it at the ArcLight/Cinerama dome and it was amazing, but even those seats start to wear on you after 3 hours so I'm just sayin'...

thanks for the heads up. At this point I don't think I really have a choice seeing it anywhere else on the big screen. Vegas already missed the boat I think. Unless IE plans to keep a theatrical tour going after the DVD is released.
So you don't know about hte sound system? How are the screens?

I haven't been there for a few years, but the screen is sort of dark and the sound system was substandard.
