I was actually a little cynical when I saw we were getting yet another version of Laura Palmer's theme/Love Theme, but that was terrific. Just like bosguy1981, I didn't remember it from the show.

Yes! Finally, one of my long awaited tracks! Hurrrrrrey!

I told you, you'd gonna love 'cocnoout' version!

Can't wait for your reactions for 'Audrey's Dance (Fast Flute Version)' - another almost unknown fantastic track! You'll see (hopefully not long) ;-)

'Owl Cave' or '24 Hours' next week, please? - I'll keep my fingers crossed.

It's hard to say which one this is. Verses sounds like "Love Theme", climax and chorus sounds like "Laura Palmer's Theme". It could be any of them ;-) Whatever.... let's enjoy this awesome tune!

They used only 20 sec. of this version in entire series (ep. 7) . I will never understand why.

The sound is a tad wonky in places on the "Piano & Rhodes" version. But I can't really complain.

Well, you could a little, you are paying after all.:) I think I heard what you mean listening to it on earphones from my laptop, but I'll need to give it a closer listen. It's the kind of thing that it would be nice to have straightened out, or at least some explanation for (like with the vocals in Sycamore Trees, or the unlistenable I'm Hurt Bad).

I'd happily take a fresh version of Lovely Laura's Theme every week, they're so often the highlights of the Archive. Ideally though, a bundle of all remaining versions would be my top pick.

Now that we have a few dozen releases from The Twin Peaks Archive, which ones are you most grateful to finally have? You know... the ones that you listen to, with a big grin, and think, "Thank God we didn't have to wait another 15 years to get this on a soundtrack CD"?

My top 3 would be:

Annie and Cooper
Twin Peaks Theme (Nostalgia Version)
Audrey's Prayer (Synth Version)

And my greatest "surprise" so far was definitely Nightsea Wind. I didn't see that one coming, and wouldn't have guessed it was 5+ minutes of eerie delight.

Top 5 so far:

1. Mister Snooty
2. Laura Palmer's Theme (Piano and Rhodes)
3. Freshly Squeezed (Bass Clarinet)
4. Dark Mood Woods (Full Version)
5. RR Swing

Biggest Surprise:

Miss Twin Peaks (Piano Rehearsal)

But I love all of them. Last 7 months I listened almost only TP music, and I'm never bored.

qbin,

I agree. Miss Twin Peaks (Piano Rehearsal) was a great surprise. It is amazing to dream of all the alternate mixes that were made for the Series and FWWM that were never used. I know that any alternate versions of Moving through Time would be a dream come true.

My top 5:

1. Deer Meadow Shuffle
2. Mysterioso
3. RR Swing
4. Miss Twin Peaks Bundle
5. Sycamore Trees Instrumental

I am also thinking it would be great for the members of the board to help and continue to spread the word of the amazing releases available at David Lynch.com to ensure that this keeps on going. Either through Twitter, Facebook, posting at various forums or by bugging some of the Soundtrack Review pages to help spread the word on the amazing work that David and Dean are doing for these releases.

I feel it is very important that word gets out to the masses as this is such an amazing gift that we are being given after all these years and I would hate for it to end.

My top 5 are (based on my iTunes play count):

1) Nightsea Wind
2) Deer Meadow Shuffle
3) Dark Mood Woods
4) Mysterioso
5) Birds In Hell & RR Swing

And I agree with dugpa. I have been spreading the word, talking to people, posting the link on my FB page and trying to gain as much support as I can. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that the Twin Peaks Archive has really been a dream come true and that we want to keep this going until every last track is released!

And for me every new release is on top for a week

So my top 3 for next friday:

JAMES IS VISITING LAURA
JACK WHEELER'S THEME
THE PETROGLYPH (OWL CAVE)

As for bundle-release I suppose somehow it'll be MILFORD'S WEDDING BUNDLE including with 4 tracks.
I'm not X-files fan but... damn, the truth is really out there!

My top 5 so far:
1. Annie & Cooper
2. Twin Peaks (Solo Rhodes)
3. Audrey's Prayer (Synth Version)/(Clarinet & Synth)
4. Dark Mood Woods
5. Birds In Hell

For me those first two are essential & I wanted them from the moment I heard them in the series.

It has been a dream come true. Hopefully my own site is doing a lot to spread the word.

Once again about this:

(from DL.com) : "and a unique version of the Love Theme from Twin Peaks for Piano and Rhodes."

So they also didn't know how to name this track ;-)
