I'd be surprised as well, but OTOH isn't she there with the panel? What else can she be doing?

And didn’t Kimmy say at the end of last year that stuff about good news coming in “like July or something.”

I think it's entirely possible they'll announce what's been rumored for awhile - a Missing Pieces-type of assemblage of deleted scenes from Season 3.

I think Season 4, if it happens, is too soon to be announced.

I thought the speculation was that very little was cut from Season 3?

That's what I thought too, and I mostly have reason to believe that. But... it's not all I heard.

Then, unrelated, the aforementioned rumor popped up on Reddit. I thought it sounded like bullshit at the time. Until I didn't, not completely. Could still be bullshit. Didn't come from me!

I've heard there is still around 40 minutes of footage from FWWM that is unreleased. I'd love for Lynch to combine that with any remaining footage from S3. There are S3 scenes listed on the shooting schedule that we never saw on the show. Did they end up filming those though?

I also have a feeling that Lynch would love to do something with Part 8.

I doubt that there’s another forty minutes of FWWM deleted footage, at least not anything significant. Pretty much all the major scenes from the shooting script are in either the film or TMP. I’m sure there are odds and ends, trimmed lines and moments, that could still be cobbled together (like the “bonus footage” of Leo/Jacques/Ronette in Part 17), but probably not much of substance.

I’m definitely curious about what is going to be announced tonight, albeit keeping my hopes very tempered.

6:30-8:00 PM Press interviews at Indigo Room 202A
8:00-9:00 PM Twin Peaks Panel with moderator Jessica Tseang (Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton

So that's PT, right? A couple of hours from now.. Do we expect this to happen at the press interviews or the panel? I have no idea how these kind of things go.

(it sure is an effort to keep one's head cool)

If Lynch is going to be there it has to be some kind of major announcement. But I’m keepinmy expectations low.

There is about 40 minutes left. That's been confirmed to me by someone who worked on TMP.

I doubt very much Season 4 would be announced tonight, but it's certainly interesting.
