Re: Crazy Credits (Possible spoilers)
12 new characters credited in part 13. We now saw 190 of the 217 actors on the announced cast list. 27 to go.
Fun fact. Both Frank Collison and John Savage were first credited in part 13. I was looking forward to their appearances because they both were in Carnivàle, my second favourite show of all time
Also Alon Aboutboul was credited as Head Carrier. I missed his appearance. Which role was that?

Is there anywhere I can see a list of the 27?

Re: Crazy Credits (Possible spoilers)
So no real (non-musician) big names left, other than Monica Bellucci, and many of us already know the nature of her appearance. I'd say Carlton Lee Russell is the most exciting name left, assuming he's not playing a different character a la Phoebe Augustine.

My major worry is that he will be too elderly to jump.BGate wrote:So no real (non-musician) big names left, other than Monica Bellucci, and many of us already know the nature of her appearance. As a matter of fact, 'Chalfont' was the name of the people that rented this space before. Two Chalfonts. Weird, huh?
Re: Crazy Credits (Possible spoilers)
I'm excited for Emily Stofle - she was fantastic in INLAND EMPIRE and considering she's married to Lynch I'm sure he'll give her a juicy part.

I wonder if she'll be a love interest for Gordon. That character has reached a whole new level of meta this season already.Snailhead wrote:I'm excited for Emily Stofle - she was fantastic in INLAND EMPIRE and considering she's married to Lynch I'm sure he'll give her a juicy part.

Re: Crazy Credits (Possible spoilers)
This was an Imdb error I think, as Mary Stofle (Ruth Davenport) was miscredited as Emily in other episodes.Snailhead wrote:I'm excited for Emily Stofle - she was fantastic in INLAND EMPIRE and considering she's married to Lynch I'm sure he'll give her a juicy part.

Re: Crazy Credits (Possible spoilers)
Huh? Mary Stofle was credited as "Mary Stofle" in both her Parts. Emily Stofle is on the cast list of 217, but has yet to appear. I know there has been some speculation that there was a Mary/Emily mixup on the original cast list, but I don't see any reason to think that. I'm pretty confident Emily shot something -- both because she has acted in several of DKL's smaller projects since IE (Lady Blue Shanghai, Out Yonder, Boat), and because it's pretty unlikely that DKL accidentally put his wife's name on the cast list (which has otherwise proved to be incredibly accurate to the series credits, right down to crediting Mike Malone solely by his last name). Mary Stofle likely wasn't on the "217" list because she's not a speaking role (note that Andrea Leal/Mandie and Giselle Damier/Sandie also weren't on there, nor were the credited musicians/band members who don't sing). Emily Stofle will show up.sylvia_north wrote:This was an Imdb error I think, as Mary Stofle (Ruth Davenport) was miscredited as Emily in other episodes.Snailhead wrote:I'm excited for Emily Stofle - she was fantastic in INLAND EMPIRE and considering she's married to Lynch I'm sure he'll give her a juicy part.

Oddly- some non-speaking parts were on the list, and some speaking parts weren't on the list.

Re: Crazy Credits (Possible spoilers)
The only speaking roles to date who didn't make the list of 217 are Buella and Otis (Part 1) and Jack (Part 2) -- all part of Mr. C's early storyline. I wonder if there was some reshooting done in that part of the script after 4/25? Otherwise, the exclusions of those three particular actors seems mighty coincidental.Ross wrote:Oddly- some non-speaking parts were on the list, and some speaking parts weren't on the list.
