Freddie Jones RIP

Freddie Jones died yesterday, age 91, after a short illness. RIP.

That’s a big loss. He was terrific in all his work for Lynch, but I think my favorite is the Hotel Room episode “Tricks,” a real tour de force. So sad that we’ve lost both him and Harry Dean in so short a time, although both lived long, seemingly full lives. Glad Freddie was working almost up to the end. Not sure how commonly known it is, but he was supposed to play the character of Freddie in INLAND EMPIRE. Apparently he suffered some malady at Heathrow that prevented him from flying, and Harry Dean took over.
