Kafard, there was never a vhs release of the broadcast/"US" pilot, was there? Are you just saying you have a vhs recording of it?

I haven't recorded it but bought it in 91, I think...., just before buying the whole serie (with the U.S pilot) and the movie on laserdiscs in 92/93, for the sound and the quality picture.
By cons, I don't remember where I bought it... May be in a local store which was selling posters and others stuff.
There was a french release of the pilot which was the same as the U.S pilot but with no subtitles and in french. At this period of time I was curious (I still is...) for watch the movies and series in their original languages.
So I have the U.S pilot, the european pilot (U.K) and the pilot in french ...

But I don't have the complete serie on VHS in english, just 3 differents pilot and the complete serie in french...

Complicated, uh?! :-D

if it is June it will be almost exactly 23 years since the last episode of Twin Peaks aired, so in that sense a kind of anniversary too...
The next time you see me it won't be me...

Not almost! The final episode(s) of TP was June 10th, 1991.

Do we have our release date? Or just coincidence?

Seems like more than just a coincidence then... Where I'm from it was aired a couple of weeks later :) (21st of June I think)

The version that played at Cannes was actually the exact same version. No additional scenes were in the film.

Interesting, because I read, it was a bit longer. Must be just a rumour. Thank you!
