Looks like 2:53 pm is the last stop on the hype train for now
Funnily enough, I'm rewatching the episode (6) where Hester is introduced lol.
Yeah, I think if it was going to be 2.53 it would have been 10/1 and/or 10/2.
I mean, there's still 10:10 PM tonight, then 10:10AM on February 16th (which is the actual date from FWWM, I think? This could be the most likely of all!), then there's the time and date Coop entered TP, the date of the premiere, the date of the Return, and on and on.... We could go down that Rabbit Hole forever. I'm still anticipating an announcement, just not at a specific time and/or date.
I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange.
FFS......(253 * 10)/119 = 21.2605 which means we will get season 4, movie and season 5 on 26th of May 2021. If Mark Frost tweets "Merry Xmas" in December it means Santa Claus is real and Helga's House of Museum Pain is actually Illuminati

If we get two more seasons and a movie, I won't care about the chocolates.
Besides, it's not about the chocolates. Or the bunnies. Or the chocolate bunnies.

Maybe they could include the box of chocolates with the new boxset then - as a special, special surprise and an appetizer for the upcoming TP juggernauts everyone's tweetin' and writin' home about.
All the date guessing is in good fun . . . not meant to get anyone’s hopes up or set anyone up for disappointment. Until someone comes out and says it’s definitely NOT happening, I’m staying pretty excited . If it’s meant to be, it will be.

I think that's a great attitude to have about it.

I don't think this is necessarily the case. Music is usually handled in post, whether it be creating an original score or laying in pre-existing music. What The Chromatics did was a bit different since they performed on screen, but there's no reason they'd be in the loop sooner than actors.
Disagree. If there was some sort of a teaser/promo cut using their music, it would definitely be possible.
Well, sure, anything is possible. If you think the key to unlocking the mystery of Season 4 in in the Chromatics Instagram feed, feel free to scrutinize...

No, not at all. Besides Mark Frost debunking the actually untrue rumours about TP being about the reporter and bad coop being in jail for killing TP residents, no. Actually, his statement:
Dear Internet: You are very good at spreading rumors. Truth is more valuable and much harder to come by.
Slightly implies that there was in fact another truth (TP being written).
The only thing I remember is Lynch saying:
"Well, Ray, you know, the town is still there. And I suppose it's possible that we could revisit it. Of course, you're already dead, but we could maybe work around that.
Which is actually very positive!
I've asked about this before but so far without response. Honestly, as far as I know, there has been no denial coming from L&F in the pre-TPTR announcement era (that would be 2010-2014?) The ''dead as a doornail'' remark was a decade earlier!

This is a major red flag for me. That HHM source must be some kind of super ninja for word to get out like that.
Guys do you think Lynch and Frost browse Dugpa or reddit and are reading our comments?
Like we speculate the the announcement would be at 2:53 and they would be like “now we know when not to announce the new season.” Lol
No way. They have better things to do than keep track of their fandoms. Could be since he once did an AMA on there, Mark Frost has checked the Twin Peaks subreddit once or twice, and possible had a chuckle or two about silly fan theories. But keeping track of all the ramblings and musings of there fans, no way. Even less would they let those influence their announcement.
Carrie Page: "It's a long way... In those days, I was too young to know any better."

While it’s certainly possible one or the other or their assistants could browse the forums from time to time, I don’t think they would change any announcement based on what was being posted.
If they were browsing, it would most likely be to smoke out any leakers in their midst, find out who is violating their NDA.
