I think it was 1992 or 1993 on a Belgian channel. Don't know if that was the first airing of TP in Belgium or if it was a rerun.

Maybe you should add: 'airing outside of the US in the 90's'.

Tuesday nights at 9pm on BBC2 in 1990.

Saw Fire Walk With Me in the cinema in 1992 at 14 years old with my dad. That was awkward.

I was maybe 7-8 years old and I was laying sick. I've noticed on TV program, that re-run of Twin Peaks is airing around 1:00 pm (yep! in Poland they were playing new episode in the evening and they've played re-run in the middle of the next day!:) ). My mother, she noticed it too, told me that no matter what - I CAN'T WATCH TWIN PEAKS! Of course I don't have to ask you if you know what I've watched that day..

Through the years I've remembered that in this episode there was a dead guy in some kind of a room and there was something with checkerboard. Oh - and that I WAS FU****NG TERRIFIED.

I was probably 16 or 17 when I've watched Twin Peaks properly. When was a time for episode "Checkmate".. all memories came back! Guess I have to thank to my mother for making me watch Twin Peaks

I first experienced it on original airing on the BBC but I never caught every episode. I had a parent and sister who watched it religiously. I was 10 and perhaps a bit young to fully appreciate. In my teens I then rewatched on VHS (S1 only) and then the Bravo re-run. I'm pretty sure the Bravo UK re-run was later than the above date though.

I watched the first season when it originally aired in 1990 (and taped it), watched season one again when ABC reran it later that summer, and watched season two when it originally aired (and taped it, so I had a bit of Gulf War coverage on VHS). I was in my late 20s at the time; most of my friends, family and co-workers were also watching it, so I spent a lot of time discussing it too.

Bravo 1993 airing. Then my brother and I won the VHS tapes in a magazine competition. Amazing!

Thanks for reminding me of the Bravo date. That means I was 12. Blimey.

I'm actually reminiscing now. Bravo was bloody good at that time. The Prisoner, Twin Peaks, Troma movies, The Saint, Danger Man, the list is endless. Plus I was 12, so my brain soaked it all up.

I didn't see the ORIGINAL original airing since I don't live in the US, but I saw the first airing in Finland. Apparently the Finnish air date of the pilot was on 18 February 1991. I was 8 years old.
