I don't agree with all of this Matt Zoller Seitz piece (for example, I loved the room service scene both then and now), but I think it's mostly right on, and right on about Lynch: He does not give a fuck about audience/critical expectation, and this will be wild.

Glad that Leslie Linka Glatter was there. I really appreciate her contributions to the series. Episodes 5 and 13 are high points of the show.

Dually amused and saddened by Lynch's comment on S2 - I hope that he is proud of Eps 14 and 29, because those are what I consider the definitive episodes of the series.
