I'm not middle aged, but it's going to be very cathartic for me. Still hasn't sunken in. It's just been a part of my life and my mind since I was very small and next to maybe Star Wars - which came back much sooner in various forms and never seemed entirely like a closed book - it is a towering icon of my childhood. I watched it live and now I'll do so again - I never imagined that happening twice. Ever.

It may not even sink in while watching at first. I honestly don't know what I'll do.

I'm guessing you're 35-ish, like me? Same sentiments

Omigod. I'm so happy to see Ben (with the "BEN" prop from the original show still on his desk!!!). One of my favorite characters. The absence of both him and the Great Northern from promotion was really worrying me.

So, a mushroom cloud has replaced Gordon's bucolic office wallpaper from FWWM. Hrm. Presumably this is the same mushroom cloud picture seen at the wrap party (and I would again point out the intriguing Eraserhead parallel). Fairly ominous choice for an FBI director!

Excited for a new round of Jacoby wardobe. DKL always kicked things up a notch in this regard (see Episode 29).

Looks like the Cisco phone everyone has in my office. Pretty standard issue. But yes, it is another cord phone.

As mentioned, I noticed Ben was smoking a cigar and that Cole was Deputy Director. I have a feeling Cole was that in TSHOTP as well? Nice to see that we might have Ben back to his old ways, although I'm struggling to picture a storyline for him!
