I'm watching this again and again. I don't think the curtains are CGI, they're just hung in a weird way.
This is - excuse me - a damn fine cup of coffee.

We know 3 and 4 are airing together on the 28th: http://www.sho.com/schedule?date=2017-05-28OneEyedJack wrote:If part 3 airs alone on 28th and part 4 airs week after, it will play every Sunday.Ross wrote:I'm guessing there is week it won't air- possibly July 4th weekend.Driftwood wrote:how is the finale airing with two back to back parts on the 3rd of september if there are 18 parts in total, the math ain't adding up there.
Also like the time change in August so there is no Game of Thrones overlap

Nah, they said that the third and fourth hour will air back-to-back on May 28th.OneEyedJack wrote:If part 3 airs alone on 28th and part 4 airs week after, it will play every Sunday.

The POV shot will almost certainly be from the show, imo. It's too strange to be B-roll, and it has that telltale Lynch/Deming quality.helloboys wrote:New teaser looks great and is getting me really excited to revisit this world.
That said, my gut is telling me that we've still not seen any real footage from the show. Feel it's all been behind-the-scenes footage shot for Showtime's teasers rather than anything that'll appear in the final product (even the foot walking in the puddle). That'd chime with the secrecy of the whole project and the lack of a conventional trailer.
I saw Mulholland Drive in the cinema last night and although Lynch's style will have obviously evolved in the intervening years, something just tells me the whole look and feel of the new season will be even better than these teasers. Here's hoping!
Now, I wonder whose POV it is??
The RR shot looks a little off, though - maybe that is behind the scenes. Or if it's not, it's not been colour graded at all (looks like a commercial!)
Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
Yeah, it's obviously footage from the actual series. I mean, most here know the scene outside the Palmer House. The rest are transitional shots.
This is - excuse me - a damn fine cup of coffee.

So tell me, what does this mean. What's the common factor expressed by these floor-patterns?secretlettermkr wrote:of course we all know...Xavi wrote:Did you know?

They all seem to definitely be final shots....at least to me. Not a complainer, but I do not like the "color correction" on the RR shot, if that is indeed what it is. Personal opinion of course.

i thought you were refering to the floor being "the same" (its not really the same) in both ERASERHEAD & TWIN PEAKS, if you were implying meaning... thats so abstract. I hope you do not think you have THE answerXavi wrote:So tell me, what does this mean. The shot of the Palmer house is very eerie. Why does Sarah have all of the lights on like that? Assuming she lives alone, assuming she even lives in the same house.

It looks very similar with the exterior shot of the Diner in the Missing Pieces.mtsi wrote:Not a complainer, but I do not like the "color correction" on the RR shot, if that is indeed what it is. Personal opinion of course.

Nah, what I meant is - I feel it was footage shot during production specifically FOR the promos. Not saying it's not by Deming and not to say that similar things won't appear in the show (they obviously will) but just got the impression that Lynch didn't really want to reveal even a second of the actual series before it airs. I might be wrong of course - it's not exactly a big deal either way.Panapaok wrote:Yeah, it's obviously footage from the actual series. I mean, most here know the scene outside the Palmer House.
