The new behind-the-scenes teaser just makes my heart sing. I absolutely cannot wait, and I feel so fortunate to be able to watch all of this new TP wonder unfold in real time 25 years later.

Just a Random thought. Amy Shiels is so damn gorgeous in a Lynchian kind of way <3 "This world of Twin Peaks is filled with beautiful women!" Cole, Gordon.

Loved James Marshall's and Chrysta Bell's insights most of all, and Kimmy Robertson because she's Kimmy Robertson. Everyone looks stellar! Oh my heart.
Does anyone know what the second badge Albert is wearing is? And most importantly, are Bobby and James sharing shirts now or will one of them have to go home and change?

The green tinge visible in those interviews is likely the presence of a green screen backdrop, and no color correction. Could be wrong, but that's the impression I got and am trying not to read anything into it at this stage.

This is true of most NETWORK and BASIC cable shows, simply because commercials are continuously eating more and more into runtimes with each passing year. Time is valuable. However, PREMIUM cable shows have no such concern (especially with Showtime and HBO increasingly lenient toward shows overrunning their allotted timeslots by several minutes). Every hour-long premium cable series I can remember watching has had a full main title sequence (including current series Homeland, Masters of Sex, Game of Thrones, The Leftovers, and newbie Westworld). And Frost and Lynch strike me as old-school guys who will want to have a full opening (probably not the original, I would venture, and possibly not even anything remotely resembling it--but SOME sort of main title).mtwentz wrote:For some reason, I don't think they'll have an opening credits sequence like they did back in the 90s and will just integrate the credits into the opening scene, like most shows do nowadays.

Thanks for explaining that for me. I confess- I don't actually have cable but now that I think about it, the streaming shows that I have watched (House of Cards, Bloodline, Man in the High Castle, etc.) do have full credit sequences.Mr. Reindeer wrote:This is true of most NETWORK and BASIC cable shows, simply because commercials are continuously eating more and more into runtimes with each passing year. So yay, we should have a full credit sequence to look forward to.
I am fully convinced they won't stick with the original title or theme- but heck, I could be surprised.
