I'm not actually. Pieter, who runs the site, has been nice enough to host the articles for me. I decided not to post them on my blog since my site is really just about the music. Anyway, the first one will be up soon.Agent Sam Stanley wrote:Ross, you're the one in change of Welcome to Twin Peaks?

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread
Forgot to ask if this one is included in the deleted scenes:
Leland comes out the door of the house. Looks at Laura and James.
Laura can feel him staring.
LAURA
I gotta go.
James just looks at her then guns his bike and roars away.
Laura walks back to the front door where her father stands.
LELAND
Who was that?
LAURA
A friend from school.
LELAND
A special friend?
Laura looks at her Dad, eyeball to eyeball for a moment. Then she
walks past him to the stairs.

I know I'm totally nitpicking, but according to the timeline of the series, it really should read "One Month Later" not "Some Months Later".
The episodes covered roughly one month from the end of Feb to the end of March, 1989.

I'm getting the impression that Lynch does not see exact time scales as being important.Ross wrote:I know I'm totally nitpicking, but according to the timeline of the series, it really should read "One Month Later" not "Some Months Later".

Similarly, the are a lot of differences between things in the series and in FWWM -
- in the posted photo of Cooper being helped by Truman and Dr Hayward, there is no small basket on top of the toilet.
- Laura's photo in the school cabinet is swapped with the one at her home in the show, the pose in her living room photo is the photo in the school. Swapped.
- the Bang Bang bar sign does not flash alternately like in the show in FWWM - it just flashes up with no alernate 'bang, bang.'
- many common establishing shots from the show are just not present, most noticeably the waterfall next to the Great Northern
(there is no establishing shot of the Gt Northern in the Missing Pieces either!)
- everyone comments on Harold Smith's place looking different, plus the Palmer house looks pretty darned different from how it appeared in the show - if Lynch and the makers wished to make it look more akin to the show, they could have managed that quite easily.

Someone on Twitter shared it with me. People are starting to get the box set early. I've asked him what deleted scenes are on there from the series but no reply yet.Agent Sam Stanley wrote:Cool, where did you get this from?Ross wrote:I know I'm totally nitpicking, but according to the timeline of the series, it really should read "One Month Later" not "Some Months Later".

I would like to know this as well. Also I am curious as to whether the scene where Leland and Laura meets Sarah for breakfast at the Double R will be included. Can anyone confirm?Agent Sam Stanley wrote:Forgot to ask if this one is included in the deleted scenes:

The dialogue between Laura and Leland at the end of the scene was cut from the film.rewak wrote:That's not deleted (the exchange between Laura and Leland about James i mean), it's in the movie

Only 6 days to go now.
So what is everyone going to do when they get their box set? Jumping right in to the deleted scenes and extras, or watching series and feature first?

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread
I don't know!
That is a tough one. I will probably watch the deleted scenes; then start from the beginning and watch the series and FWWM all the way through; and, once again, watch the deleted scenes. Then download whoever does a FWWM fan edit with all the deleted scenes added back in and watch that.
Hot damn! I am so excited!!!!!
