..and it ain't Gordon Cole or his friend who said that. At this point, the author is.......a MYSTERY!......

(But back to the real world, copyright Mark Frost, go buy the book AND the audio book. I think I will listen to the CDs while I look at the pictures in the book :-)
Thank you very much Qubism! So It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma then? How cool.

Yup, sure looks that way! So Amy Shiels as TP is no longer an option. Seems Annie Wersching will be voicing TP in the book, as the beginning of the audio book lists the author voices in order of appearance (David Patrick Kelly first, Annie Wersching second.)

How odd they chose the voice of an actress who would not be in the new season at all to voice the character instead of the actress who will actually play her. That's an EXTREME way to keep the mystery alive.

I'm certain that inconsistencies like Nadine and Ed's backstory have intentionally been changed. Has something to with the plot.

I'm also very happy about Frank Truman. Love to have Harry S. appear at some point.

Could be Shiels just reads on of the latter TP notes, in which the full name is revealed.

I was just wondering...

Nadine's wrong name
Laura and maybe Leland back in town
Walter Olkiewicz (Jacques?) back as well
Truman being Frank instead of Harry...

All this...

Pointing to an alternative string/timeline already????

Too many odd things. :)

Hey Jerry just let me get this in, Star Wars 7 is not a reboot at all. JJ Abrams Star Trek 2009 is the Ultimate definition of a reboot. I don't need to say any more.

I agree with Jerry, this thread is about the book. Take the reboot nonsense to another topic

Do we have another change?

Has the town paper changed from the Twin Peaks Gazette to the Twin Peaks Post?

Is there a chance that the book had to change the show's bible because certain things like "Twin Peaks Gazette" were owned by ABC/Spelling?

IIRC, while the paper was referred to as The Gazette, it appeared as The Twin Peaks Post. Check out the scene where Roger is reading it in the Double R.

Right, it appeared as the Post in the series.

The books mentions that the the Twin Peaks post was formerly called the Gazette, at least earlier than 1980
