I don't know why but according to amazon.de the german version of the book will now be released on november 17 instead of october 18. And what is even more surprising to me is that they increased the price to 39.90 Euros that's about 45 dollars. Hopefully they'll go down a little bit until the book will be available over here.

You are not allowed to sell Books below the price set by the publisher in Germany... Guess they underestimated the production cost with all the pictures...
And now they're using the US Cover too...

Agh, this is so so tempting. Apparently they deliver to Canada.

But, can I justify the premium, since I already have an Amazon pre-order for the book as well as the audio CD. And then if it's signed, I wouldn't necessarily want to even read the thing, and would have to have a separate copy, at which point it's all getting a bit ridiculous.

What's great about working in a public library is that we get the materials a week before the release:) for some titles (Harry Potter), I had to sign and fax a letter saying I would not distribute the title before release.

Powell's has appeared to have cut off the signed copies at a certain point. Last night the link led to "The Secret History of Twin Peaks- Signed Edition" with further details about when to expect shipment after the signing event. Now it's back to the generic book info. Glad I got in last night!

Hoping that's true! Can't wait to see what other kinds of merch there will be! Also, Mark Frost did say on Twitter that S3 will have an ad campaign. Not that that's a surprise, but I know some have been saying they don't think there will be promotion (because Lynch might not want it.)

It's going to be a very expensive 2017. I also have the Blu-ray of the original series/FWWM on pre-order (simply because the $100+ CAD 'Entire Mystery' boxset is a bit too rich for my blood, as I already have DVD copies of the series + FWWM).

Hoping for some nice posters or mugs or some sort of memorabilia for the new season. Twin Peaks is definitely a show I can justify it for because it was just so unlikely to ever get revived.

Action figures? Pretty please? Based on the new series? And the original series? And FWWM? I'll sell my blood. I only need a little to get by.

So is there gonna be a seperate Dugpa sub-forum for the book? I can already feel the explosion it's gonna evoke here.

Really excited to read the book, it's so near now, then over-analyzing it bit by bit from inside out with my fellow dugpas :D

Anyone know if the signing/whatever event with Frost in LA is sold out? I assume so.

I don't think the Last Bookstore has even put the event on their website yet.
