No delay email from Amazon (I preordered in Feb) -- still says I'll be receiving the book on Monday the 17th.

And some email about how my payment was declined, but they may have been some issue with my giftcard. If I was sure I could get it at a shop on the 18th I'd just cancel my order now.

Yeah. But I thought it would atleast start shipping now and would arrive a but earlier. By the time it arrives you guys would have read it would have a PhD in The secret history of twin peaks

I got the email around 9:30 eastern last night saying the book won't arrive until 10/20, but as of right now the order is still showing 10/18 on Amazon's site. FWIW I ordered back in February. Strange times. I already have plans to be near a B&N today; if I should be lucky enough to spot a copy I'll just cancel my Amazon order.

Got the same email last night about the delay to 10/20. And it didn't just say my order was delayed, it said the release date was moved. So I don't know if it was a glitch or what, but, in a panic, I canceled and reordered and it's back to 10/18 delivery.

If it gets bumped again, I'll do what I can to source it locally on the 18th. I'm NOT waiting 2 more days after waiting 25 years for new material. It'll kill me to know it's out in the world and I don't have a copy.

Arrival date changed to 10/20 on my Orders page after all. I canceled, re-ordered, now it says expected to ship on the 17th and arrive on the 18th.

What a weird turn of events. I won't be too surprised if another unfortunate email arrives though.
