Does anyone remember if Twin Peaks was always listed on the Series column on the Showtime press site in the last few years? I could've sworn they had removed it at one point. Either way, it's interesting it's still there, as shows that have ended typically get removed fairly quickly.

Kyle MacLachlan Rules Out Villeneuve ‘Dune’ Cameo, but Never ‘Twin Peaks’ Season 4

I find Kyle's repeated variations of his stock answer to be reassuring. That's exactly what someone who knew something was going on would say after signing a non-disclosure agreement.

The fact that it is also what they would say if nothing was going on shall be ignored!

Why is the February date important?

Forgot to add: DUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait for it. I'm planning to go and see it at least 3 times on the big screen, even if it is crap. Surely, it can't possibly be crap though.

I read all of the Frank Herbert novels again last year in preparation, and also watched the TV series. The latter was curious, since it really brought home how unfilmable the book is as a traditional plot-driven sci fi epic. It was a brave effort, but it couldn't convey the richness of the book. Lynch got a lot closer to the spirit of it, and given more freedom could have worked even more magic. I don't want to derail this thread, so might discuss this on the Dune bit of the forum.

But then what would be left over to say for someone who actually doesn't know what's going on :P

hahaha

Probably the same. Let's face it- we know nothing at all.

I do like living in a world where every interview with Kyle involves a question about new Twin Peaks though. That would never have happened in, say, 2001.

Given the source, disregard with great prejudice

Care to elaborate? I don't doubt your judgement, just interested.

Having it in pre-production would be amazing, but it also made me realise that my great hope was for a secret series almost ready to go. I can't relax until the series is completed given the age of everyone involved.

I've just read 'Conversations with Mark Frost' by David Bushman. I don't want to quote the book or spoil anything as everybody should read it, and hopefully I'm wrong, but if someone forced me to try and predict if the show was coming back based on Frost's words, I'd say no.

Of course anything can happen. I'll live in hope but a little more quietly from here on out.

Also watch out for Kyle. If he dyes his hair black, it might be an indication that something is up

Still not convinced though

hmm- the plot thickens. People do make stuff up unfortunately. But I still am convinced something is happening.

How did you get hold of the Mark Frost book? In Australia, I'm seeing a release date of March 12th.
