I've got an idea: Let's throw a rock at a glass window. If the window breaks, Leo is innocent AND there will be Season 4 of Twin Peaks announced in 2019.

With the only catch being that we all have to throw our rocks at the same window, and at the same time, and they all have to miss the red coffee mug that's flying through from the other side.
Not taking any calls.

I hope that if the series back in 2021, the next year should start the shoot and at the end of this year, do the annoucement. a few days ago a user of this fórum say this, and i am completely agree with he.

That would be Thursday 6/10/21. I would love to see it back on Thursdays myself. Feels right. Another thing that feels right is an entire season with Good Coop.

If they are writing it now, only a few people know and we won't know until they want us to know.

We have no choice but to wait for official word.

Do you believe that there will be official word this year?

I have no idea.

I think we have some reasons to be hopeful. Nobody has come right out and said it's not happening. On the contrary, people like Mark Frost and Sabrina Sutherland have expressed enthusiasm about a fourth year. Even Showtime said they want to keep working with Lynch/Frost. Also, things seem a little quiet with Mark and David right now. It's not like Mark has announced he's directing a movie or writing a new book or anything like that. David always has a few small things going on but...it just seems like they could be writing together right now. It's not much to go on but it's all we got.

So I wish, it would be incredible. if these was correct, i think that until they don,t finished of write the script, wouldn,t say nothing. i believe that was of these way in the season 3.

I think we may well have even less hints than we did with Season 3, where I became suspicious a year earlier as they began working on FWWM and the Entire Mystery, and it became clear Lynch would be filming a skit with the Palmers. I had never believed he would return to Twin Peaks at all up til that point, so for him to opt to do that was a huge flag for me. Still, I never seriously believed S3 would happen til they announced it. I felt something was happening but couldn't be sure what.

This time there's no assumptions. So maybe they'll just be even quieter.

I Agree. also say that if there is a annoucement of a season four, it would be in a normal day like the annoucement of the season 3 in 2014. At David Lynch and Mark Frost likes surprises.

The Mt Si Motel is for sale. I hope a new owner doesn't tear it down.

Kyle may have a new long term gig on a sitcom: https://deadline.com/2019/03/carols-second-act-kyle-maclachlan-cast-cbs-patricia-heaton-comedy-pilot-1202570890/

It's only a pilot at this point but it probably has a good chance of getting picked up since it stars Patricia Heaton. Kyle's character is "Dr. Frost", ha!

Luckily, filming for sitcoms wraps pretty quick.

I remember there was a time when Deadline used to report every new castmember who joined Season 3. Wish that happens again in the near future

This is from 2015, 4 freaking years ago!!!! Almost half a decade ago. Time really goes fast

Not knowing about season 4 is provocative. Its exactly like Schordinger's cat.
A cat in a box that you cant see or listen into is left for a period of time.

After said time the question becomes...Is the cat alive, or dead. With no scientific way of ascertaining this, Schordinger used logistical mathematical deduction to show that the cat was Alive, and Dead, simultaneously. A curious assumption which may for some be complacent and indicative of pleasant presumption that the cat is not Surely Dead. I take solace in that until someone opens the box, where only then will the truth be known whether we need to get out our Shovels.

Knowing the history of sequels and continuations, I think there's a high likelihood we get more Twin Peaks, unless Lynch himself decides for artistic reasons that he wants The Return to be the last and final word.

Unlike George Lucas, I don't think Lynch would ever sell Twin Peaks to Disney, so it's really all up to Lynch. Either he says it's done once and for all, or he decides he has a new idea with which he is in love. I feel confident that Frost is up for anything.

From a practical standpoint I can imagine that Frost and Lynch care too much about Cooper and Laura to abandon them in such a predicament. But in real life, so many endings are unhappy, and we accept that we cannot change them, and we also try to learn from them if we can. So they could be struggling with wants versus needs. "I want more but I need to be real".
