Moderators?. Are season 3 spoilers okay on this board now?

A question for the moderators. Is it okay to start some threads here on the main board that will include Spoilers?

The episode specific threads are pretty mucky and all over the place. Would like to see some topic specific threads dealing with tge new characters and subplots etc.

So can we Begin?

Good question! If season 3 spoilers are allowed on the 'main bord', I have to keep away from it because I haven't seen 3 & 4.
So, a heads-up would be welcome!

Fair point - those 2 threads in the "Season 3" section are starting to feel a little crammed...

I would feel that those topics belong in the 'season 3' subsection, which is in turn in a subsection called 'story discussion'. It does feel kind of crammed in those two topics but maybe it's just that no one created a new topic there yet.

We could take a look at reddit and have each topic there with mandatory brackets there e.g.:
[All spoilers]: All spoilers allowed that stem from the most recently released episode.
[Spoilers part 4]: All spoilers allowed that stem from episode 4 or earlier.

I'd rather they weren't personally. We should be able to make topics to discuss things such as links between Frost's "Secrets" books & S3 in the Season 3 section. That way we don't run the risk of running into things we don't want to see/know!

I think we should definitely be able to have that because it's difficult to hold a discussion when the threads are flooded with people's first impression posts.

as long as there aren't spoilers in the title I see no issue with this

I posted a thread in the S3 subsection and forgot to mention there were spoilers. I saw my thread title got edited so that it includes (SPOILERS), thanks for that. Maybe it would be good to add some notification there saying spoiler thread titles must include a (spoiler) tag? It would help people from accidentally getting spoiled and save mods some work.

Also it's still a bit confusing what threads belong in the S3 subsection as it's categorized under 'story discussion'. There are now threads there about subtitles, watching services and food, while the thread for S3 stills and promo pictures is still in the general Twin Peaks section. This also doesn't fit with the content other S1, S2 and FWWM subsections.

Probably you're aware of this and there's plenty of stuff to do besides organizing this forum but there is your feedback!

I'm good with Spoilers in the context of discussion about an Episode/Part being flagged with "Spoilers" in subject header and the use of the new spoiler tag.

i.e.

Spoiler:

post episode spoilers here and only here

As for anyone who posts a spoiler that has to do with something that a cast or crew member has leaked to their mother's sisters girl, those are absolutely and completely not allowed and will get you banned.
